i cant even run this game lol, csgo 400 fps, cs 2 feels like under water 140fps, not to mention the sound, so horrible, for some reason is stretched even though it should be black bars...
Played in beta, it felt weird and I had a hard time to adapt. Don't know if it was me or the game.
Played yesterday, felt way better. Don't know if it's me who started to adapt or if they changed something to the game. But it feels good now. Give it 3 weeks and everyone will feel like they've played that game for 20 years
For me the worst thing is "delayed headshots/kills". I don't know, sometimes it just feels like you get a kill and it's not instant like it should be... I've gained an access to the game on it's full release and honestly was expecting it to feel way worse due to all the negative comments spread about it. Fps is also good on max settings with my 1070 Ti.
Surely there's gonna be a difference between having your inputs travel through a network (online) and your pc being the server (offline - 0ms)
i think you meant the amount of cheaters is on all time high and when you don't somehow run into 0 lvl accounts you get clean 13-0 victories. dead game on arrival

awp flicking feels EXTREMELY bad. it's like you have to intentionally slow down to hit the flick, no fast flicks possible anymore. what is this shit?

everything is off about that cursed game, playing vs bots feels fine but the second i play in online servers the wildest shit happens.
Hit reg in cs2 feels way better, i honestly thought they increased the size of the hitbox when I first started playing. The only thing that still feels off to me (shooting wise) is the spray, which feels very slightly different to CS:GO's
It is very random. At times the hit reg is perfect, and then other times it's like your bullets just disappear into nowhere.
I also get a lot of random headshots on the first bullet. I just got done with a dm session and I headshot a guy while standing still with the five-seven from 20ft on the first bullet, and I was clearly aiming at his chest.
Sometimes I get these random first bullet headshots from great distances, and others I can be crouching, the person stood still, and i have a perfect headshot lined up, and nothing. Click, click, click, nothing. Then they turn and instantly one deag me.
The weird thing to me is the first bullet accuracy seems to be extremely good most of the time. If my aim is dead on, I usually get the headshot, but spraying and bursting seems broken half the time. And I get no consistent feedback.
I have a 5 ping as well, as I live in the same State as the server's on the east coast of the US. Also, I have a very good PC and the game runs nearly perfect. No lag, perfectly smooth fps.
played since the first beta they gave to non content creators, i can say i've already adapted to it and its pretty nice actually
the net code is trash because valve thought they could outsmart 128 tick. instead they just made the game laggy for everyone. 128 tick servers could make the problems better, but valve went out of their way to ban them lol.
our only hope is valve reversing the 128 tick ban (unlikely) or everyone quitting the game and begging a billionaire like elon musk to make a proper csgo clone with everything we actually asked for.

before cs2 beta access was given out to people who had prime, movement still felt okay, but after that it just felt delayed, the input lag makes it frustrating to play this game
I play with gtx 960 and I can run it fine

I think its a combination of netcode + some valve servers being garbage. Sometimes I feel like I got a good server and the game is more playable.
Lag compensation takes a second to calculate who won the fight in online games, that's why hitreg is bad, sprays are awful. There is too much latency between client and server, not related to ping.
Cs2 on ping below 30 feels godtier but anything after it feels so sluggish
100% agree, I tried some community DM servers and it was almost unplayable, 35 ping but it felt like 150 :D. Nice job volvo, great esports ready game!

idk if its just me but every time someone with an SMG flies across my screen, their model stutters rather than one smooth motion. I only get around 80 fps so idk if that is the cause.
YES. the game is a failure, if you have more than 30 ping it keeps stuttering, you cant even change slots sometimes, it just doesnt register. you press 3 for knife for example and then switch to main weapon right away, it stays at slot 3. Subtick is a failure. CS2 can be played on lan only or with 15- ping
I've also noticed and i hope they fix it. maybe something to do with subtick as well ?
input lag is insane for someone with more than 10 ping

I have played cs2 today after a week break and it finally feels like cs:go, not sure which update fixed it, but now when i drop a gun and shoot it, it no longers has like slight delay of jumping xD. Same principle applied for shooting enemies
