do you believe in supranatural?

define supernatural.
2013-01-09 12:29
Attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.
2013-01-09 14:07
I must say that nothing is beyond science, if there is such a thing it wont be in years to come. Personally no i don't believe in "supernatural" but i do believe there is people or things that brake the laws of science like a bee for example. but in years to come we will evolve and find out why
2013-01-09 14:59
Thank you for proving my point
2013-01-09 16:08
Yep, sciene fiction is science fact in the future :) I've also read that they are training bee's to smell objects. Like dogs do now. Only it takes +6 months to train a dog and a bee is capable of learning smells in 30 minutes.
2013-01-09 20:32
What are the laws of nature?
2013-01-09 16:17
2013-01-09 16:31
Example: Rule 1: You can't use mouse scroll to crouch hopping. Rule 2: You can't use shiled Rule 3: etc So what exactly are rules of nature in detail?
2013-01-09 16:41

Me yes, since we use maybe 7-10% of Brain for activity. Imagine 100% :D
2013-01-09 14:47
First, that's a lie. Second, how would that be 'supernatural' in any way?

Imagination is a supernatural ability for him. Give him some slack. His understanding about these kind of things is still lacking.
2013-01-09 14:57
Oh good to have you. You opened my mind. Thank you...
2013-01-09 19:28
yes because the first episode i saw it was something about a little teddy bear that had grown into a big version of arnold schwarzenegger and then he shot himself in the head and he didn't even die must be real
2013-01-09 15:08
I acknowledge the very possibility that science could be proven wrong here and there, hence, yes - I believe in supernatural.
2013-01-09 15:43
Finland Malixoxo
How would one prove science wrong? What would that even mean? You can prove that a certain hypothesis or even a theory is incorrect but it wouldn't mean that science is 'wrong'. None of the answers that science has produced is meant to be DEFINITEVE or ETERNAL truth. Just look at the way how all of the theories have come to be, scientists try every possible way to disprove the hypothesis. When none of them can do that after numerous and numerous attempts we can call that hypothesis a theory. Like the theory of gravity.
2013-01-09 15:52
I'm not a scientist and I don't consider myself a smart guy either, but let me maybe make my point using very simple words and examples. Newtonian physics was once proven 'wrong' if I'm not mistaken and now the mainstream follows what can be summarized as 'einsteinian physics'. Newtonian physics would see certain things supernatural like time travel for instance, while they are not seen that way by the current mainstream physics. And what I said was I could acknowledge the possibility that that could happen again someday and what we would now see as not doable and hence, 'supernatural', might in fact be a part of the mainstream science theory in the future and then seen as 'doable'.

What... You clearly misunderstood me because what you just wrote makes no sense at all.
2013-01-09 18:16
Clearly he didn't mean to say 'science as a whole', because he mentioned 'here and there'..
2013-01-09 20:22
I didn't try to refer to what you said, because I don't even think I even disagree with it. What I did instead was I tried to explain what I had said using simple words and examples, so that you understand it better and next time when you try to challenge it (I love to be challenged by anyone at all times!), your response would be more on the topic :-).

Argument from ignorance, Bertrand Arthur William Russell
2013-01-10 11:02
No, it's not. And that's since I'm implying these things, I'm only saying that the possibility exist, and therefore I can also say that I believe in the very concept of supernatural.
2013-01-10 12:39
I dont believe, i know by firsthand experience things impossible.
2013-01-09 15:55
2013-01-09 15:58
There is not one bit of evidence of something supernatural ever existing so no i don't believe it until i see it.
2013-01-09 16:18
#32 not stupid american thing like ufo, other thing i dont want to talk here, people just argue and debate and think they debunk anything by what they think and make silly explanation to "solve" it , more so their fragile mind doesnt implode im just here to give my confirm to thread starter
2013-01-09 16:22
I heard someone create universe in 6 days. That sounds super supernatural to me. Can you confirm it?
2013-01-09 16:51
And why would that be supernatural rather than natural ? I think that supernatural word has gotten a weird meaning ,the world we live is to far perfect to call things you cant understand "supernatural"
2013-01-09 18:01
big bang happened alot quicker than 6 days. supernatural?
2013-01-09 19:38
let there be ligth BOOM!
2013-01-09 19:45
The burden of proof is on you, if you are claiming something happened.

Yes, my di*k!

as the indians said you can explain pretty much everything in a scientific way. Even some of the UFO crap IF you believe in such things you just dont have a clue about everything in the world wich goes around. And that is natural. Thats why knowledge is power
2013-01-09 17:25
Exactly, you cant use something if u dont know its structure, its purpose and such information.Things that we cant understand are things that we cant do something about them, instead of rejecting them we should search more about it,and im happy that science has made big steps in theese as well(experiments with after death experiences ,lucid dreams, brain functioning and experiences when its inactive and so on.)

haha are you serious?
2013-01-09 17:26
There is no supernatural, there is only things that we cant explain with the given technology at this time. nature and universe are way to perfect to have "supernatural" things.

yes i do somethings are very unreal.....
2013-01-10 10:05
I'd like to believe that supernatural shit exists .. its more fun and interesting that way xD
2013-01-10 10:21
No - Because I don't believe in stuff I haven't seen any scientific proof of it's excistence, simple as that :)
2013-01-10 10:27
we do many things don`t know how it works. example BREATH you can breath even though you don`t know it works or knows it works. Nature got something like that maybe time isn`t now. i strongly believe in future many unexplained or undiscovered things will be come out. who can imagine if we talk about cellphone, internet to Cave man.
2013-01-10 13:22
Anyone who does is stupid. Check out James Randi, he's a former magician who has dedicated much of his life to disproving anyone who claims to have supernatural or paranormal abilities. It's been going for like 30 years and not one single person has been able to prove the existence of paranormal activity or supernatural ability under scientific conditions. This is also great:
2013-01-10 10:43
2013-01-10 10:56
Supernatural, yeah a good TVserie (y)
2013-01-10 11:48
I find Space being supernatural ( It never ends, It has always been and always will be ), but no I do not belieave in zombies, vampires, ghosts nor UFOs.
