CR7 dribblings/shots/distance-speed is for sure top1 spectacular play in this world atm when he actually have the better days on the field. Messi is more consistant and i respect him in what he do (he is great and all that) but its more like a grey mass of rather boring tica taca play by the book and the eventual result of barca academy. Iniesta, Messi, Xavi is more like a symbiosis. While CR7 is a genuine independent footballer to the inner bone, yeah more than Messi for sure. Messi knows this and thats why he will never search after new challanges and clubs. For example: Premier Leauge - overall is the strongest league in the world but its a nono for him, bcuz then these ballon'Dor prizes is a finito chapter.

(before you read my text below, I'm a Messi fan) I honestly think that CR7 is the more complete player than Messi. Messi won't use his weaker foot, his heading ability isnt really good aswell. CR7 is perfectly two-footed and can easily score with his head. On the other hand I think Messi has more dribbling and game intelligence and he thinks a few steps in advance, something I don't see that often with CR7. I also think CR7 can play very well in every kind of team. I would like to see Messi play in the German or English League, where the teams play much harder and often slower than Barcelona. Messi plays in an oiled machine that is called Barcelona, where similar top players like Iniesta and Xavi drop the ball perfectly for him. They are both top 2 of the world, but I would say CR7 is the more complete player ...

nice comment... ! +1 For me CR7 when he plays his A-game puts on a show for the crowd like no other in todays fotball. The wow-factor of those moments brings me the most joy and satisfaction. I can enjoy worldclass talent play by Messi aswell, but barley never gives me that extra kick of adrenaline filled with a exilirated happiness - like THIS was Something... !! CR7 better plays brought me so many moments like this im trying to explain. He just got that something, kind of aura with his movement pattern and style of play in general.. so he is for my personal preference the most unique when he plays on his top games in THAT certain kind of way, like no other in todays fotball.

You are right, he doesn't have to leave that team. But like I said, I would like to see if he is able to reach the same stats in a team like Bayern, Chelsea or AC Milan. They arent an "oiled machine" like Barça is. I think every piece of the puzzle landed in the right place for Messi: At a young age noticed by Barça, getting into this insane academy, Barça paying his full growing hormone treatment ... What would have happened when he didnt got noticed? I think he'll probably would have made the same journey as CR7. He doesn't show off like Ronaldo does, that's true. That's what makes him a great sportsman. But come on, everybody loves a little piece of arrogance or a trick now and then :D . Everybody wants to be entertained !

Wouldn`t say that it humiliation, because to outplay opponent it`s more important to understand how, not just to have fancy ball controlling skills. All those moments are calculated, he didn`t outplay them because he looked down on them or anything like that.
