CS source has lost and after this valve have done a new game to same engine... And now they try to put every good thing from 1.6 into CS:GO... Its a paradox method... This game just live cause the hardwer factories push dotation to championships on it... Otherwise 1.6 not dead, its 2 times more ppl played game like GO... Its just business... But Go really better game like source, but its use same engine like that... Its a big mistake... After 1.5 to 1.6 the convention was much easyer cause 1.0-1.6 all use hl1 engine... The 1.6 gamers dont care GO like the Source before... Our problem is that we havent international championships, and after the GO has come up... Valve tried to destroy 1.6 scene with updates and that was disgusting...

the aim punch, the maps colours and junk, the movement... I miss 1.6 for sure, i actually tryed 2 play this game, but i just can't do it, it's so unatural to me lmao. Not criticising people who likes it.

The game will never be as good as 1.6 was for its time and not as fun as CS:S was to play but it still has potential to improve quite a fair bit. The game honestly does not have the same feel to it that 1.6 or css had in their games, the movement is so awful that it plays more like Left4Dead rather than a CS title. Recoil is not smooth at all, im not saying make it easy like cs:s but at least alter it a bit. Some weapons are not balanced/smooth at all. People play the same old maps proper finalised versions of contra/tuscan/season/mill/fire need to be ported over and played in tournys. The maps currently in use are shit for competitive play, commands that are currently banned in sv_cheats make the game look SO much clearer should be removed from sv_cheats 1 only. When you shoot someone they can still move really quickly as though they didn't even get shot, copy what 1.6 did in that regard. The sounds are AWFUL as well, say what you want about 1.6/CSS but they had the sounds down properly, removing that tinny sound that weapons like the AK currently have. People saying that game is sick and people need to adapt is bullshit, its good to be positive but lets get real. I know PLENTY of people who have just stopped playing CS altogether because of how awful CS:GO is. The numbers coming in are not great at all either. I know its a different game but it still needs work, games been out for like 8 months now, im pretty sure Valve/Hidden Path won't change the movement but at least makes changes to some other bits of the game.

-decrease aim punch -fix acceleration/movement in general -increase ak & colt accuracy -add silencers for colts and p200s -increase deagle & p2000 accuracy -remove awp blur & bob -decrease accuracy while strafe shooting with rifles -increase tagging -increase wall penetration -128 tickrate MM servers -remove fog and maybe post processing too -make maps more colorful and lively, right now they're so dark, dull, and dead Once that's all fixed, the game will be a winner.
