I don't care whether we will, we always played better against good opponents. Also, those qualification matches aren't real show of our actual power. We had coach problem which picked the worst possible player to play, always experimenting tacticts like he was real coach. Also, before tournaments like WC and EC teams are together like 4-5 weeks, which are essential for us.

Portugal have, Rui Patricio, Pepe, Coentrão, J.pereira, A.almeida, moutinho, William Carvalho, ronaldo, Bruma( he is turning into a beast!) and some of the sub-21 are going to be ready to play at the World Cup. Portugal in the last world cup (2010) and in the last euro (2012) showed that was the team who gived more problems to Spain and was close to winning them. I know they are really good, but I just think that if you take Falcao out of the equation then it is just an average team. I think Falcao might struggle, unless he changes the team in January - I don't think Monaco is the best team for him right now (same thing that happened to Eto'o when he joined Anzi). And Japan, I really like the way they played during the Confederations Cup in 2013, but they were a bit unlucky so you never know. Anyway, I have to say - it is probably the most open group in this competition - anyone can go through, so it will all depend on small things.

I would say that Group C is probably the easiest one (well, I don't know who will go through, but the teams in it are not as good as in other groups). Whereas in Group H, Russia is quite good and you never know what to expect from Korea Republic.

Don't be too happy about your group, it is not as easy as it might look like. I think we will see an upset in this group (you will probably still go through). All three teams are really good defensively, whereas Argentina sometimes looked like they can't find the way to goal (even with Messi and Aguero in the team).

If you looked at my comment in #101, you would notice that I actually don't think England will go through to the next stage in the upcoming World Cup, so it is not like I am saying every other team is shit, and ENGLAND ARE AMAZING. I am just trying to express my point of view and all I tried to say is that it will be quite hard to score a goal against these teams for Argentina.

They have great goalkeeper (Begovic) and great striker (Dzeko), so against big teams like Argentina they will set a defensive formation, which can cause Argentina quite a lot of trouble.

Playing with a defensive formation agaist Argentina is kinda dangerous, they'll break you with an offensive like that, it's just incredible, but you can try and play counter attack, it's not easy but well, agaist Argentina it's never easy.

I am actually a bit disappointed with Argentina, I thought with the players they have - they should be trashing teams on their way, but that didn't happen and there is too much individuality going on, so unless Messi or Aguero can pull something out of their pocket then I see them struggle against well organised defensively team. I have watched coupled of their recent games and as I said - they didn't score that many goals, they actually looked like they are lacking that creativity, which is a bit weird considering the players they have.

It's been all the other way around as of late. Argentina has great facilities to score goals, specially those two players, Di Maria and Higuain. They problem rather lays in defending free kicks, since our youth defenders are pretty dumb sometimes. Oh and also, midfield has plenty of injured players (Gago comes to mind) and doubtful calls (such as Mascherano).

I don't watch Football but I am guessing Denmark didn't qualify this time? I don't see Sweden either which is weird. In the past it was either Sweden or Denmark qualifying XD. sweden was in germany's group so they became 2nd didn't qualifi directly. They were kicked out in last chance k.o. bracket against portugal. They just had bad luck with the opponents :)

Your players are traditionally overrated and you don't have a teamwork culture comparable to for example Germany's. It's quite senseless to bring up managers as the main cause for England not making it to a single WC or Euro final neither before nor after the 1966 World Cup on home soil.

They always had group of players from certain teams so that they could get that teamwork naturally, I think you're wrong in this one. They in fact get the worst managers they could get. They never got someone like say Mourinho or Jurgen Klopp that could enforce that natural teamwork condition even further.

The list of what I would like to see at the upcoming world cup : 1.I want Spain to play at least watchable football, but I think that we will see a bunch of pedestrians slowly rolling a ball, with a final score of 1-0. 2.I want England to pass the groupstage, it's such a shame that the football creators are now playing so bad. 3.I want to see at least a small desire to win a certain match from Russian team. 4.Sadly it's impossible to make it from the groupstage for USA and Ghana. In terms of attack, there's no way these players could compare to Di Maria, Aguero, Messi or Higuain. Except for Cavani. Suarez performance as of late has been going downhill, he's still good but at least 2 other teams on that group know how to stop him effectively. I'm not saying Uruguay is a bad team, they will struggle in their group. If they got to play, lets say Portugal or Netherlands, they would have a better shot since they are not used to Uruguay's style.

Well, Uruguay will very easy pass to the quarter-finals. And then in semi-finals they have to beat Italy maybe which is not that tough. So they're gonna have a easy way to the semi-finals and from there it's always a 50/50 chance for any team. Let's just hope it will be a great world cup with a lot of enjoyment and surprises (unlike the 2010 one).

So basically Suarez is better than Ronaldo, Higuain, Mandzukic, Cavani, Hazard, Hulk...and the rest of Uruguay is better than all the players in the favorite teams call it Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, etc. I think I know more about Suarez than anyone who isn't Uruguayan.

I think it's too hard to predict some results between european and non-european countries such as Portugal - Ghana , Uruguay-England even Mexico against Croatia of course it's just my opinion but it's world cup and everyone can go ahead and I want to believe Portugal will beat Ghana and Germany too do course will be hard but Portugal have conditions to do that.
