Digital Vibrance
Sweden Comparator
Does higher Digital Vibrance give you any advantage? Why do most pro players use 80% or above? (pro players = whole titan, nip).

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Usually you can see things better and turns the game colors way more enjoyable.

The games becomes brighter and in personal opinion it makes easier to spot enemies.
2014-01-26 22:17
i find the fokin blur in csgo so so .. hmm how say... so annoying and disturbing so..... i do the same.... increase colours in csgo.. i see way better.
2014-01-26 22:17
2 replies
what blur
2014-01-27 16:48
1 reply
prolly he means that the color of enemy models and background is the same, so when they move it looks like a big blur
2014-01-27 18:55
you sure whole titan use above 80% ?Cuz one scream's screan colors seem normal to me.
2014-01-26 22:17
9 replies
yes. same with getrights stream. doesnt look like full digital vibrance even tho he uses it. i guess OBS/xsplit bug edit: what ive been told is that whole titan lineup uses the same advamced videosettings but different resolutions. ScreaM uses 100% so I guess whole Titan is.
2014-01-26 23:41

scream doesn't use 100%, friberg does and you see the difference.
2014-01-26 23:57

Friberg uses 100% on his cap card aswell, thats why it looks insanely saturated

Does a software like OBS or Xsplit actually see the added color vibrance unless you are using a capture card?
2015-01-17 16:44
1 reply
Nope, digital vibrance only shows up on stream if you use capture card.
2015-03-27 10:00
you will not notice one's digital vibrance in a stream, dude.. you gotta look right through his monitor to see it

Maybe because you're using Digital Vibrance right now and it's double vibrance? haha:D
2014-01-28 06:07
maybe there is something with your monitorcolors ? I have different presets on my ASUS monitor itself (little button on the right bottom of monitor). I use "gaming" preset which makes it a lot more saturated then with digital vibrance it looks like in the picture
2014-01-28 11:53

i got the old 2233rz one, but that has a gaming preset but it still doesnt look anywhere near the picture. i'll try to adjust it and see if i can change it somehow =D

for amd you need to raise up to 180 or 200 to be like 100 from nvidia

2014-01-27 18:53
type -tickrate 128 in launch option :)

2015-09-09 14:43
only thing it does is make colors more brighter, doesn't care what hertz, screen or whatever you got. Since csgo is very grey colored standard, dig vib is just awesome. I like it for LoL aswell.
2014-01-27 16:24
Having a high saturation/digital vibrance allows for greater visbility of enemies.
2014-01-27 16:32
I use 100% and its nice
2014-01-27 16:35
100%!!!
2014-01-27 17:01
It's a must, honestly.
2014-01-27 17:37
that shit hurts my eyes so bad
2014-01-27 17:45
Using a Benq so no need for it..
2014-01-27 18:32
the game itself is greyish and has bleak colors. so i turn my digital vibrance on maximum (100%) in nvidia panel, feels a lot better
2014-01-27 18:58
Digital Vibrance is waaaaaaaaay better than saturation
2014-01-27 19:17
oi40.tinypic.com/qo95x5.jpg Digital vibrance 100%, 1600x900, benq xl2411t with original settings + lightboost.

How u got that fps :O
2015-01-17 16:30
Things jump out you better for you to react with more saturated colours, I use 100% with full brightness like shox and ScreaM.
2014-01-28 04:25
Shitty option, useless. If u have some problems with eyes and can't see the enemy- use this option. Simple, all "progamers" are using low resolution, cause personal preference, they can't change low resolution to more biggest resolution,(old times=shit pc=low resolution=more fps=habit)and they need something to see the enemy on their shitty resolution=>dv.If you have normal resolution, you don't need this option. It's like sensitivity, dpi, resolution.Personal preference. Any questions here?

low resolution is not about fps only bigger resolution on small monitor make your enemy smaller and harder to find and aim at. If i had monitor 15* using more then 800-600 was just hard and believe in 1.6 i had more then Centillion fps. Now i have 21* and i find 1024 most comfortable so its not a habit only

idk dude I played in cs 1.6 and source on 1280x800(15) and had no problems with small enemies Now im playing in source and go on 1600x900(19) and still dont have a problems with enemy I tried to use 800x600,1024x768 but..i dont feel the difference I don't understand this
2014-01-29 05:35
How many times this same topic has to be cleared? In 1.6, lower reso made models bigger In GO, the models are exactly the same size. I took a freaking ruler and measured the models on my screen: 100% same size on each resolution. Only strecthing the reso will make the models larger horizontaly.

I just increase it day by day. First i tried to put it on 90% and it really hurt my eyes, so I began from 70 and increasing it in a day or two and now i'm stuck at 90% and don't feel it at all. Game looks WAY better.
2014-01-28 05:36
Remember that when u watch streams you tend to see the player's 100 % DV on top of your own DV settings so there's a chance it may look extremely over-saturated. :-)
2014-01-28 08:21
It feels so weird when i put saturation on, the colours when im on facebook, desktop etc just doesn't feel normal. Is it possible to make the saturation only in csgo?

2015-03-27 10:10
For me is no difference.
2015-03-27 10:13
Gives more colors to the game, easier to spot people. that's why. well for me atleast.
2015-03-27 12:05
The game look just better. Colours are more enjoyable and because it's brighter, you can see more esealy ennemy. But it's firstly because it make the game looking better.
2015-03-27 15:23
I'm use 120 saturation.
