Patch releases
Australia GoMeZ
So after this weeks horrific patch it got me thinking. Why doesn't valve release the the patch to the casual game modes first, then if things look right, it gets promoted to the competitive modes the following week. This concept is not new to Valve, they already do this for Dota2. When a hero is new, they wait a few weeks to make sure he is at the right level before allowing him to be picked in competitive mode. If Aug was released to the public casual servers first, i'm sure these threads would of existed, and possibly fixed before it ruined any matches. This is of course, if valve agree the aug is overpowered... who knows what they think.

I think the AUG is fine. Because I already acquired the CSGO fanboy logic "Everything new is good" So I'm happy with the new AUG. Everyone who has a different opinion is a 1.6 hardliner and a csgo hater

im no 1.6 fanboi, no saucer and no csgo hater but aug is too stronk! tt especially for this update, op's suggestion wouldn't work, cause i'm sure the casual gamer love the new aug!

aug should be weakened next update

Don't think AUG should be weakened. I think it's fine with another alternative. Put the price up at 3700 - 4000 and kill bonus to 150 - 200 and it will be fine. It's not as good as everyone says.

Atleast 4k but for real do you've played aug after update or watched the game yesterday between h2k and esc? The Aug doesn't fit to cs like it is right now...

Was playing when H2K and esc played yesterday, didn't see it :) And yeah, I've tried it, in some positions it's good of course, but when opponent comes close, it's so hard to use. It's viable of course and it's good. And no, I am not Master guardian lol. way higher.

Because casual and competitive modes are two separate things
