how big... cant explain
You can CLEARLY see the difference, what monitor do you have? Maybe you can play at 75HZ even when your monitor is using standard 60hz
do you have nvidia?
no difference 60hz-140hz atleast for me lol..
its like the same difference from 75hz to 100hz
I think there is a noticeable difference, if its possible for you to play on 75hz instead of 60 I would definitly do it.
I have 60hz monitor (Eizo 2333). I can run 75hz only on analog d-sub plugin. Unfortunately when on d-sub 75hz game runs realy choppy and unplayable. Any ideas why? At least on paper it should be a lot smoother.
Yeah, I feel a big difference. In my opinion:
60hz: You feel a little bit laggy;
75hz: You feel more smoother than 60hz (I play with 75hz);
100hz: Your Counter-Strike feels incredibly smooth;
120/140hz: I can't really feel the difference between 120/140hz and 100hz.
i switched from 60 to 80 now and the difference is so huge... the motion is so much smoother and less motion-blur than on 60hz, its insane 8D
It's a very noticeable difference if you've played on 60 Hz for a long time
the jump from 60 to 75 is noticeable.
should go for 144Hz !! or 120 .. 75 is pointless
60hz is unplayable after getting used to 144hz, I can feel the difference from 120hz to 144hz but they are both very playable, you will notice the difference only when moving fast.. I haven't used 75hz but i guess there is a difference..
i play with 75 and i have 60 fps ;(
i will buy bether PC but it is worth to buy bether monitor?
The difference is, that the screen refreshes itself 15 more times per second, allowing you to see 15 more fps (although u have to have enough fps to see the difference, for 75hz you should have 150fps+ to be able to see maximum amount of smoothness potential of 75hz)[UNLESS YOU USE VSYNC]
Screenlag will decrease aswell, reduces inputlag because you see more frames, therefore your screen will pick up inputactions faster
16.666667 ms between frames at 60 hz
13.333334 ms between frames at 75 hz
10 ms at 100hz
8.33333 ms at 120hz
and 6.944444 ms between frames at 144hz (just to get some perspective)
which means youll have better input reaction at 75 hz.
So it is a noticeable between 60 and 75hz in terms of both smoothness and delay.
