seriously i dont see why is every1 so hyped about neymar... when i see him playing he loses ball most of times because he lacks muscles and speed, and he doesn't pass to teammates. And hes diving like pussy too
2014-07-05 10:37
uhm, have you even watched a game with him?

Actually he doesnt lacks speed. He need more strength and control over ball but speed is something which he has. To be honest he is far from Gareth Bale for example but he is kinda getting there (although might be too late).
2014-07-05 11:57
"lacks speed" You sure you know what you're talking about?

2014-07-05 01:36
bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28173132 And not EVEN A YELLOW CARD!
2014-07-05 01:48
tbh, there was way to few cards in that game, also many times where the brazils should have got one... and btw... julio cesar should have a red card..
2014-07-05 16:59
Brazil is not having any luck with referees in this WC, Neymar was complaining for about 3 or 4 matches ago that he was suffering injuries and the referee wasn't even giving a foul. But of course I do understand that some Brazilians player should have received a yellow card. Regarding Julio Cesar I'm quite impartial on this one, not sure if his foul was enough for a red card, for sure was enough for penalty and a card.
2014-07-05 17:28
Brazil is not having any luck with the refs.....? WHAT? Plenty of luck (or call it help) against croatia.. And yesterday against Colombia, you call it NO_LUCK?! The ref helped your playstyle heavily by letting fouls become unsanctioned. (NOT implying it was voluntarily).
2014-07-05 22:58
Oh ofc, Colombia was a saint, thats why neymar is out of world cup.
2014-07-05 23:10
No one talked about Colombia's fouls.. They should have been sanctioned aswell, but it was not helpful for their playstyle, whilst it clearly was for yours (specially after a goal in the first minutes) Now, Im not implying the ref helped you, he was bad for both sides, it just favoured you the most because of the context.
2014-07-05 23:59
If you look back to the whole world cup, almost all refs are so fucking bads.
2014-07-06 00:01
Indeed, but they still won your the first game against Croatia.

There is no way to break a vertebrae in a football game without intetion. The force and the impact of a fair dispute ball would never reach the force and impact you need to break a vertebrae.

I find it extremely hilarious that Neymar "dies from agonizing pain" any time somebody touches him, and ref hands out free kicks for this, and while he really was fouled the ref was like "Meh, he's Neymar, keep playing". Karma's a bitch dude. If you were pretending you are hurt all the time, now you get hurt for real, get over it since that is what you deserve. And it's not my opinionion namely torwards Neymar but pretty any great diver we know so, like more than a half of PD players plus some guys from other leagues, you call it. Where are the times when players were real man, when getting on the ground was the biggest shame annd players got up quickly to fight for the ball. Now they do opposite and use it as a cheap trick to win the ball. Where are players like Raul Meireles, Gattuso, Michael Ballack? Few years ago diving did exist as well, but wasn't such a big problem. It became popularized with "super-duper tiki taka" and players like Busquets or Dani Alves.

It's not karma. Zico and Pelé already got broken bones and were sent out of World Cups, and they never dive like Neymar does. I'm not a fan of neymar, actually I'm more the oposite.

But injuries just happen, it's part of this and any other sport, that's the risk you take doing it. Most of the time it's not like the guy who is tackling wants to hurt the other. You may think you will be faster then opponent but it turns out you're not - boom, injury. You can't predict what other player can possibly do in given situation, you think he goes for a specific move and try to stop him, he does something else - boom injury. It's not even matter of how exactly the foul looks because sometimes 2 different thing may happen when someone is hurt the very same way. Sometimes nothing will happen and he will jut carry on, other time he end's up with bones broken. And my own opinion is, if there is a guy who acts like he was punched in the face while he was actually barely touched, he deserves to be really punched in the face.

Injuries happen cause players don't care about the health of the opponents. I mean, a lot of football players act just to hurt the "enemy". Fernandinho yesterday was trying to hurt James Rodriguez. It was clearly an strategy of both teams, one trying to hurt the most skilled player of the other, Colombia scored this time. This is sad. The South American football is very very violent, thats why we had more than 60 faults yesterday and I tell you it's nothing compared to the Libertadores matchs... hell Libertadores is kinda a war.

I dont know why people are happy with Neymar out of game. Neymar did pretty much NOTHING in the last 2 games. I'm sure he will not be missed for Brazil, at least for me. Ok, he's a star, he gets much attention and people to mark him, but only this in the last 2 games, it stills not enough. Felipao is paying for not calling Ronaldinho Gaucho (R10) for this WC. R10 would carry this team, instead of neymar.
2014-07-05 17:26
i dont like neymar at all hes overrated and people act like hes the next super star of the universe ofc i feel sorry for him, he wont play a wc in his home country, this chance wont ever come again for him but overall i think its better for brazil, for their tactic maybe we'll see

For me he's overrated too. I mean, he's a good player, nice skills, but he only does plays when a team give him space to run. With no space he is unable to make something interesting. It's not like R10 or Messi.

2014-07-05 02:06
Very few in Barca dive. the only one I can think of that blatantly dives is Busquets. Neymar has been doing this since he was in Santos.
2014-07-05 02:56
Pedro mascherano busquets dani Alves etc. But everyone dives anyway ...
2014-07-05 16:58
No one deserves pain, but the irony on this one its too damn high , after all this years crying, now no one believed in him xD But hey, Fernandinho did like 15 or 16 fouls to James Rodriguez and not even 1 yellow card, and he could have injuried badly James so many times and no one cared about it. Btw this is purely opinion based on facts, not flags on the way or something like that. But even with Neymar and Thiago Silva, Brasil wouldnt be able to win Germany (i mean this could happen, with luck on the mix and so on, but from pure football no way) , this Brasil doesnt know how to do a proper attack, that defense = Melt Butter, Thoose midfielders are a joke, they dont work together . Brasil doesnt win matchs like they used too, with pure football, classy it was a pleasure to see, thoose guys play, nowadays ? They dont do shit, no creativity, no strenght (beside Hulk), lack of skill , skinny players who have a shock with someone and break their back. Thats not Brasil, and for that reason , i would be my money on Germany, full of strong, powerfull, fast, skilled, classy players, and playing real football .
2014-07-05 02:09
+1 on the rodriguez part. It was easy to see that they had planned to treat him harsh. Especially the part where i think fernandinho(?) just rugby tackled him when he had let go of the ball lol.

I am totally agree on the Rodriguez part. They were a bit rough on him and I bet scolari had that all planned from the very beginning. Fernandindo was the man to take him out of the offensive play for Columbia, and he did it pretty good, despite all the tackles. However, calling Brasil a "inadequate" team and the only chance for them to win is just on pure luck? damn come on man. Brasil got the best defence by miles compared to other World Cup teams. And not to mention on of the best leaders in Thiago Silva. What that man does, how i motivate his players, how he allways keep a streight face in the hardest situations is just unbelieveble. However, when it comes to center forward players i would say this is a joke. Fred has been playing poorely since the groupstages. Jo is just like a bad version of Muller (reminds me of the same playing style). Nevertheless, with or without Naymar Brasil got a strong chance to win against Germany. Personally I got my hopes for Belgium this World Cup but i will agree with you that on paper, Germany has one of the best rosters out there right now if not the very best.
2014-07-05 11:42
All that Hulk does is going on strength. I dont know why but he is really annoying for me. As we saw against Columbia although that was well known already Brasil is strongest in first 2 lines, attack isnt something to be proud of. Especially with current game style when they are going for possesion instead aggresive plays. Thats why Germany will most likely win that game.
2014-07-05 12:00

2014-07-05 06:53
To be honest, Neymar was one of their worst players today. They did a good job as a team, and could beat Germany, as they struggled big time against both Ghana and Algeria
2014-07-05 07:05
But played solid against France. I doubt Brazil has a real chance. It would have probably been a close match with Neymar but Germany is the favourite, no doubt about that.

Tell me... What does have neymar done the last two brazilian matchs? I tell you... he did pretty much nothing and Brazil stills winning. I wont miss him. This Brazil team is by far the weakest one I've ever seen, with or without Neymar. Brazil is winning games due Thiago Silva and David Luis (best player of this WC so far). Our defense is strong, our attack is terrible. I will miss Thiago Silva, not Neymar.

2014-07-05 20:22
He couldn't read almost anything but he guessed all the penalties... nice logic
2014-07-05 20:24
However, Lehmann later confessed, he could hardly read the coach’s helpful hints. "Andy, why did you have to write in pencil? No-one can read this,"

Lucky Jens.

Brazil markkrj
With or without Ballack you'd lose. That was one of the strongest teams ever seen, not only in Brazil, but in the whole world. And we didn't even had Romario because of issues between him and Felipão. You not even had a chance.
2014-07-07 15:07
I was expecting such an injury from neymar from nothing, sooner or later, because he's so skinny.

2014-07-05 12:03
reus, gündogan and bender injured to so who cares about neymar.
2014-07-05 10:39
such a shame that reus is not able to play he would be one of the best options for germany :/
2014-07-05 12:22
Reus is sick, I really enjoy watch him play
2014-07-06 18:24
That cunt who did it to him should be banned from playing for a year at least. Fucking useless players are always tryna fuck up Messi, CR7 or Neymar.
2014-07-05 10:47
All footballers should get their backs broken at least once.
2014-07-05 10:54
Germans are so fucking lucky...the only good game they made was against Portugal who basically make their life easier with one penalty and one red card.
2014-07-05 10:55
Funny to hhear that from an argentinian.
2014-07-05 13:07
Argentina was shiity also.
2014-07-05 13:11
everyone was lol
2014-07-05 13:40
the guys who write "he deserves it" should just stop pretending to be interested in football. the "acting" is needed to make fouls visible for the ref. it's a shame how the ref led the game. 50+ fouls and he barely drew a card. I'm pretty sorry about neymar, that has nothing to do whether I like him or not, it's just that his opportunity to play in the world cup has been robbed from him for absolutely no reason at all !
2014-07-05 11:09
Without Thiago and Neymar, I think its gonna be very hard....
2014-07-05 11:11
he took diving to a whole new level, expected him to show his best diving skills in the semi's :(
2014-07-05 11:24
Brazil cuz LAN
2014-07-05 11:29
A shit player, honestly. In my opinion, Brazil has even more chances against Germany now cuz there is no "star" player you have to pass to all the time so he can show skillz and lose the ball instead of passing further. Go Brazil, you can do this like in 2002.
2014-07-05 12:36
FUCK ZUNIGA
2014-07-05 13:13
zuniga's only fault is not finishing the job =) rip neymar. hope u never play again

2014-07-05 13:39
"Omg neymar is injured, germany so lucky, now we won't win the world cup, etc", how about you support some of the other players you got instead of treating neymar like a god. He's played good, but nothing spectacular though.
2014-07-05 16:50
All the referee's fault should have given way more cards early on the match it would have calmed the players down and less off these faults would have happened...
2014-07-05 17:03
The referee was a shame
2014-07-05 17:09
True, there were a shit-ton of referee mistakes against both sides that game.
2014-07-05 17:23
happy to see this pussy out since he sucks.
2014-07-05 17:29
Brazil will win even without Thiago Silva and Neymar ;) Brazil stronk!
2014-07-05 17:32
gg broken back. idiots here saying its a minor injury clearly never felt a back injury/pull or lifted anything remotely heavy
2014-07-05 17:42

Neymar are so overrated and bad What a diver youtube.com/watch?v=7qnW_ff-SKM
2014-07-06 00:10
You can dislike Neymar as a players, think he's a diver, overrated, etc, but please, show some respect. That guy has been fighting to make his dream come true for years and won't be able to do this because of an injury.
2014-07-06 17:50

2014-07-07 03:26
Brazil in semi-finals without Thiago Silva and Neymar, Germany will destroy them, really sad for Seleção .
2014-07-07 03:39
That brazil league though, can you post shroud's top 10 moments vs single aks, would be just great, ty in advance.
2014-07-07 04:30

Bernard will most likely replace Neymar...
2014-07-07 12:23
Team Brazil doctor said that if the Columbian would hit 2,3 cm higher then Neymar would be paralysed for the rest of his life
2014-07-07 10:07
No doubt a stupid move from Zuniga, way too dangerous and out of play. In any case, I believe Neymar is a very fast player but most of all he motivated a nation and a team. If u check the players in Brazil, they don't really seem all that great. 2006 and 2010 world cups brazil had way better players... Neymar has single handedly almost brought brazil to the semifinals, without him it would have been very difficult for brazil to pass the group stages let alone get to the semis!

Against Colombia he was one of the worst players of the match in my opinion.
2014-07-08 01:31
everyone has a bad game... u seen muller from germany? in some games hes played like crap.. same for many players but without neymar brazil would not have passed group stages in my opinion
2014-07-08 10:35
He's is a great player but I think they can win without him.
2014-07-08 10:36
Brazil can easily manage without Neymar. He should be thankful he was lucky enough not to be paralyzed.
