Why India?
World lonelicious
Why India to attend ESL? Why not a brazilian team? they had sick players in 1.6 and by the csgo starting the brazilian team was the first team to take more than 10 rounds of NiP on de_nuke. You know, those guys deserve it more than algeria or freakin india... they have no history in CS, they are not huge as brazil in counter strike scenario.

are u brazilian?
2014-08-12 10:05
sorry bro, peru
2014-08-12 10:51
why cant u kids just get over it. ESL's strats is to make most money and they just see india as a Potential profits. And why u kids just cant read old threads and stop making useless ones every now and then.
2014-08-12 11:09
how american can you get :D "stop criticizing a company for hurting the (csgo pro) scene by trying to maximize the profits"
2014-08-12 12:50
OMG no one's(me) criticizing anyone. how came the company is hurting CSGO. they just gave a slot\chance to a unknown team. Which will ultimately give growth to CS in India so i guess its a + point so they gave s slot. SO what if they gave one. We all know Winner's gonna be from the "Legends" not the "Challengers"
2014-08-12 12:55
i just paraphrased your sentence: "why cant u kids just get over it. ESL's strats is to make most money and they just see india as a Potential profits". i also pointed out that it's typical of liberal capitalists (eg US established politicians). i agree with them giving the spot to an indian team anyway.
2014-08-12 12:59
ah okie. Esport Growth in India will directly profit ESL. I wasnt Criticizing anyone just so if u thought so. Nevamind. \Peace o.o
2014-08-12 13:04
you told us not to criticize them for trying to maximize profit, by saying we should get over their strats to make more money... aaaanyway, hf :)

brazilian or other asians next time please thanks a lot
2014-08-12 10:12
Why ? There must be some entertainment. Somebody to laugh at. Some joke. And cos of that indians are perfect choice. But i must agree that brazilians would serve same purpose.
2014-08-12 10:15
what i remember is having brazil to play in tournaments, not chile, not algeria, not freaking india.... come on this guys are clueless about the game, but brazilians could always make a path to good positions in tournament
2014-08-12 10:23
Were you sleeping when the slot was given? don't see the point in crying a couple of days away from the event, besides its not like we asked for a slot, it was given to make the game more present in the country (afaik we have thousands of viewer presence in twitch). You can file for a slot next time, calm down.
2014-08-12 10:31
ya you are right we saw the Brazilian playing style in Football against Germany . 7-1 . They can do much better in CS GO.
2014-08-12 11:51
Because Brazil lacks basic resources to run the video game. Like one of the Brazilian guy complained about constant powercut at his place and how that got him banned. All this details are taken into consideration by eSports committee before handling out slots and qualifiers.
2014-08-12 10:21
India seem to be much more undeveloped than brazil. What i recogn is brazil having bad government, but they are smart, good economy afterall.... imo you shouldnt say they are undeveloped, at least you have lans in india? HAHAHHAHAHA

By my own experiences traveling to both India and Brazil it seems to me that India is not as developed as Brazil. Don't get me wrong, Brazil have their problems but as the infrastructure seems a lot mer developed then in India.
2014-08-12 10:30
Infrastructure is more developed in Brazil, thanks to World Cup 2014. I am talking about basic amenities. India has improved a lot in recent times, both economic and resources wise, Sir. Also we have new stable government this time, so good days are ahead of us.
2014-08-12 10:39
yeah world cup helped a lot brazil, thats why they were so happy rioting there
2014-08-12 10:49
They were rioting cos Brazilian government spent all the taxpayers money ( approx $ 12 billion) on World cup instead this money could have been used to alleviate poverty, crime, better amenities and medical facilities for the people
2014-08-12 11:20
Germany volt =D
Still rape and murder in india, cows shit on the streets! My uncle was there once and told me it's a fucking shithole!

Hopefully there will be alot of interviews from the indian players! Indian accent is really fun to listen :D

Because India mens are the most naturally talented Counter-Strike players on earth. Proven fact. I will post scientific reports to prove it.
2014-08-12 10:43
Money. Promoting CS to India could potentially be hugely profitable. With Eastern Asia already heavily involved in Dota / LoL, India is the next best option. If you find yourself asking a question about something Valve has done, the answer is almost always going to be - Money.
2014-08-12 10:49
yeah your explanation make sense
2014-08-12 10:50
Although i agree, i found flaw in your argument. Promoting CS to South American would have been profitable too i guess
2014-08-12 11:27
It's a huge market for valve to step into. Probably tens of millions of kids eager to spend their last money for skins.
2014-08-12 11:00
im in india for 2 months. there is no internet to have any sort of decent gaming to happen, whilst in south eastern asia there is a lot more.. this india team has set sail for fail but at least it will introduce the cs scene to a country which could use some more gaming fans
2014-08-12 11:03
Which part of India are u in? I'd sugest you to go for airtel as ISP but you have to shell out extra for good internet connection.
2014-08-12 11:22
Because 0-7.

im glad to see an indian team in cologne, but still im kinda disappointed that germany didnt have its own qualifier.

No mouz No Allu No Life.
2014-08-12 13:21
Everything depends on the money, always. I would like to see a scene, where the skill and perfomance is the main factor.
2014-08-12 12:57
you need the bling to keep the show running, innit bro?
2014-08-13 08:49
Being honest , A pakistani team thrashed that WolfGameGod 16 - 5 , And that team consisted of only one and the only Global Elite in Pakistan , HARMZ. So Pakistan deserves more than India :]] Now keep burning bitches !
2014-08-12 13:18
India has an ESL partner, Pakistan doesn't, that is their reasoning.
2014-08-12 13:49
You only have 1 global elite in Pakistan? Lmfao we have at least 30 here in jordan.
2014-08-12 17:11
theres internet in pakistan?!
2014-08-12 17:16
No u.
2014-08-12 17:49

2015-02-20 23:13
NIP will be using touchpads to give wolf chance
2014-08-12 13:54
Is it not obvious ? India is a potencial market , brazil as you are saying already as a lot of users . The bling is calling
2014-08-12 13:57
No reason to fight, but it is certain that today we have no level to compete against the best teams in the world, but our scenario is changing and soon we will see some Brazilian team in international tournaments.
2014-08-12 14:00
2014-08-12 17:09
but, 5 World Championships :)
2014-08-13 02:08
Whats wrong with all indian fanboys? Why cant you be realistic? Team Wolf will lose all their games and get nothing but nice holiday. They will never play vs topteams again, I hope. This slot is big waste.
2014-08-12 17:02
OMGOSH the india hater is here!
2014-08-12 17:09
2014-08-12 17:12
Yup, most indians attack me as well, when the only thing I say is that the slot is a waste and it would be better to create some local LANs in India instead. Self confident assholes, happy to see them getting destroyed in ESL.
2014-08-12 17:27
Im with you bro. I want to see good progames, not ulow matchmaking.
2014-08-12 17:28
Even if the slot was given to a lower tier team (OG or Encore) I wouldn't mind, because they have higher chances than these guys.
2014-08-12 17:29
How long do u think GTR Shox etc play GO..? Don't you think this slot is to promote the game? Why would ESL invest 300GBP every week to organize tourneys every week? This slot is clearly meant for promotion of the game. You need to consider some facts which are essential for the game to survive. China, India and Japan have large population of gamers. Japan and China have a very strong MMO player base. India has a neutral player base, meaning, no particular genre. Right now, every F2P and PC company targets to capture the Indian market. Why? Cheaper investments and equally large population. Even I feel that this is a wasted slot. I would have loved to see tyloo in this slot. But surely, someday or other India would get a slot. In 3 yrs of global offensive, it has been only one occasion where we saw an Indian team in a tourney. I feel valve realized it is too late to promote the game in Asia.
2014-08-12 17:43
1-7 mad cos bad lel
2014-08-12 17:02
I'm wondering how the player base of CS looks like per country. Maybe India has one of the largest and by inviting a team from there, they're trying to promote it further?
2014-08-12 17:12
Because 7-1
2014-08-12 17:14
2014-08-12 17:19
India has over 1 billion citizens.. And you're grounded for getting your ass kicked by germans.
2014-08-12 17:18
Im happy that the CS community is starting to become more internationalized but I would have rather seen a team that has proven they can compete with top tier teams instead of an Indian team. I sitll believe India should have an opportunity too prove themselves too be a counter strike power but I dont think it should be in a Major. They should have too slowly work their way up to major level like all the other teams.
2014-08-12 17:20
Brazil Collee
Actually, our teams are pretty bad at the moment :< Our CS:GO scene is dead, so the teams are not practicing enough to play a big tournament. I think our best team could lose to any of these CEVO teams But I don't know if these players from India are good...
2014-08-12 17:25
The scene is moving, we have the XCL Cup, Amateur League, League GA, and some Bootcamp in ESEA, is still very little, but it's a start, but also believe that no Brazilian team get a good result against any team in CEVO, teams or the ESEA League Invite.
2014-08-13 02:15
Brazil Collee
That's really bad for us, considering that back in 1.6 days our 2 best teams could beat any team from North America Our scene will probably improve a bit in the next months, but it's still very far from what I want to see. I think we can't have a good CSGO scene without Valve's help. We need big national tournaments, and we need a slot on at least one big EU/NA tournament
2014-08-13 02:42
Keep calm and enjoy CS:GO ! :) Peace out kids...have some ganja and relax. ;-]
