Greece on line ?
2015-02-16 22:00
Greece fucked up themselves.
2015-08-16 22:47
Well, actually no, just check the effect of the "Euro" on their "Balance of Payments", u will be surprised.
2015-08-18 05:17
Dude, just check their pensions, welfare and tax evasion.
2015-08-18 16:18
I Agree, but it's a fact that before the Euro their "sick" system worked XD
2015-08-18 16:23
For how long would it have worked tho, it's hard to say that the euro fucked them, when they were running a subobtimal system that was doomed to break anyway.
2015-09-13 20:10
Biggest banks in the world filled Greece with loans. Then they realised that Greece wont be able to pay them back. So they fixed Greeces gross domestic product deficit levels to acceptable limit for joining EU and here we are. All the money that go to Greece are going directly to banks and so far only private investors have received payments back with high interest rates.
2016-03-24 13:07

Sweden Sanfan97
Really man xD I went to London and your currency is net really smooth xD fucking 3000 different types of coins that you can't see how much they're worth and everything cost super much. Now We don't use Euros in Sweden but at least we only have 3 different types of coins (1kr=0.1€ 5kr=0.5€ 10kr=1€)
2015-08-17 07:04
we have 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00 and 2.00 :) Not a huge number of coins..
2015-08-17 09:49
well, you can fucking see that there is a lot of shitty coins. What can you even buy for 0.01???
2015-08-17 11:56
There are 1 pence sweets, but inflation means they cost more than that. Also it costs like 3 pence to make a 1 pence coin. It's dumb.
2015-08-17 13:19
that's penny's that were made around 1980 new Penny's are like 0.3p to make (i think not 100% sure though)
2015-09-13 19:07
youtube.com/watch?v=y5UT04p5f7U 1,5 pennies to make 1
2016-03-22 13:54
Used to be able to by a fair amount of things when this currency was introduced! Nowadays they're mostly used for change from things that are 99p or £1.99 haha
2015-08-17 13:22
lol, in sweden if something cost 1.99kr we pay 2kr, if its 1.50kr we pay 2kr, unless we use card, then it takes the real sum..
2016-03-22 12:09
you have 4 types of coins. 2kr coins. I don't even live in sweden and I know this. smh
2016-03-22 14:23
Never seen a 2kr coin in my life...so either it's super new or you're wrong

As do the USA since Bush JR. it's the Currency that makes it workSame thing as 2 Dollar Bills, they exist, just aren't common
2016-03-25 19:30
2 dollar bill is like a collector's item you can use it for payments but people just collect it. Just like we also have 50 cent piece, people dont use it. Mostly just collectible item. 1 cent coin 5 cent coin 10 cent coin 25 cent coin $1 bill (100 cents) $5 bill $10 bill $20 bill $50 bill $100 bill

You pay for studing in the UK, and it's quite expensive.
2016-04-28 20:16
I know, I think 9k a year in Uni is the standard tuition. I just wanted to know why agreed with me like he did
2016-04-28 20:31
Is school free in Sweden? Like, university/college/high school?
2016-04-28 20:51
Yes, you even get money for studying. About 300 euros in Uni and 100 in high school. When you are under 18 parents get the 100 euros instead. But I still gotta take loans to pay rent, food, clothes and to enjoy the student life. So the most normal thing is to take 700 in loans and get 300 for free. So most Uni students in Sweden live of off 1000 a month
2016-04-29 09:09
Okay, thanks for the good reply! It's pretty much the same in Finland, I have heard people get around 500 ish euros a month. That's pretty much the same amount in high school and uni, and a lot of people take student loan, which is basically a really cheap loan, no big interest there.

It's a social security organization in Finland. And what the fuck guys, I'm getting ~750€ for being unemployed, ~100€ for my rent and ~320€ for actual living. Please tell me you still live in your parents basement because that kind of income is way too low otherwise. edit: Oh yeah, this is monthly aswell.

rent = bills. U know my slavic friend?

2016-03-22 20:00
omFg retard spotted
2016-03-22 20:09
I pay 470€ a month for my small apartment. That 100€ is just a support specifically for paying rent. It's going up from 100€ to 185€ / month starting next month. So 750+185+320€ is my income as a unemployed student from next month forward. Add a few hundred on top of that for working few days a month. It's not much but certainly enough for stress-free living.
2015-08-17 12:56
have fun living alone for the rest of your life
2015-08-17 18:09
Im not living alone, but ok. Such hatred towards somebody who's studying, jealous much?
2015-08-17 20:21
getting free money for studying, next level country. here in brazil people cant even study if they dont have money to pay for a decent school, imagine getting paid for it hahaha 10/10 country.
2015-09-13 20:30
It's not my fault that your country is different. Get over it.
2015-09-13 21:00
lol im not blaming you for it, just talking about the difference between my country and yours. calm down bro.
2015-09-13 21:11
lol, i dont understand why u should pay for school, when you are the future of your country, they should give as many as they can a chance to become successfull.. In sweden i can get around 120euro for free while studying, and i can take a loan up to 1200euro ish.. right now im unemployed, and searching for a job, + im going to study after the summer. I get 900Euro every month for free, just by searching for a job, and i live home because its no free apartments.. im just 19 tho, so im living well :)
2016-03-22 12:19
That's one little difference between 1st world and 3rd world countries. Here in the 3rd world, the government wants you to be a braindead without knowledge. So never ever expect get free money just for studying. Chile is crap, so as soon as I become professional, I'll leave this shit.
2016-03-22 17:27
professional csgo player? im saving shit ton of cash i get every month, like, i live home without paying anything, and gets that much... i only pay my phone every month, other than that im saving ^^
2016-03-22 17:33
professional csgo player here? in da fucking 3rd world? haha . There's no chance in hell.
2016-03-22 19:39
its simple, the government here dont want the people to study, they need the people to be dumb forever so they can keep the power in their hands and steal as much as they want.
2016-03-22 21:36
We get 10 000 Euro a year, but we have to pay half of it back when we're done studying.
2016-03-23 02:49
i wish you had as good education :( but honestly all you need is books, to self learn :) you even save years from doing this

2015-08-22 20:05
I made 1600-1800€/month from my first job when I turned 18 (was for the summer aswell, didn't get the full salary that a regular worked has). Obviously because it was for the summer, my total tax was left quite low because of limited income during the year. What do you do if I may ask?

Go there and work some yourself :) My sister was there last summer and worked like a nurse (or equal) and she got 1100€ per week after taxes!!!! AND they payed for subsistence and her trips from Sweden. Kinda sick... It was in the northern part of Norway and everything sucked pretty damm hard what I´ve heard from her. But work like 4 weeks no-stop and then you can do wtf you want for the next 2 months ;)

there is a crazy tax though, and also, except if you literally live in a dump you need like 2000€ or more a month just to live
2015-02-16 12:40
I was looking at food prices and they're +/- same as in Italy. The only thing that looked expensive about Norway, so far, is if you go out eating, which I never do.
2015-02-16 12:47
This is how close you can get to look at the prices, somethings are maybe alittle higher.
2015-08-16 22:46
Some of that site is quite inaccurate. It's saying €1.94 for a bag of rice in the UK but most supermarkets sell them for €0.56.
2015-08-17 18:23
The fuck are you talking about? a decent apartment + bills costs around 1200€ for me. leaves me with 1300€ for food and w/e i want.
2015-02-16 14:43
think he included food in his calculation :P
2015-02-16 18:54
thats not much more than it costs in italy (if you live in the big cities)... and it seems like people here make half of what you guys do there.
2015-02-17 14:59
And is it easy to find a place to rent and a job for a foreigner?
2015-08-16 22:58
actually there is one thing in norway that is crazy cheap compared to the rest of EU, and that is Dipers. In summer time, gers, poles, and others smugle huge amount of dipers out of norway:P
2015-02-16 19:35
Thanks for the info, the only thing stopping me from having a kid, apart from being 160kg and having a nose larger than my dick (still a small nose), are the cost of diapers.
2015-02-17 15:01
Haha quality comment :)

Considering how expensive Norway is, that's like decent, right?
2015-02-16 11:58
If you live alone you can live pretty good on 2500 month in norway. If you have a wife and family and all you would be need more to live decent I would say.

"If you live alone you can live pretty good on 2500 month in norway. If you have a wife and family and all you would be need more to live decent I would say." He was the only one refering to that... I asked because I thought (and well) he was refering to the MAN working only.

You want a chick to leech your hard earned cash?
2015-08-17 13:03
Everyone hyping up the prices in Norway. You earn enough money to throw them around and have fun. Trust me, it isnt't that fucking expensive. You can buy cheap food here as well, it's just clothes, resturants and other stuff that are very expensive.
2016-03-22 20:32
and a hamburger + 500ml water bottle = €12 :p But I think if you do work in Norway, compared to other countries, you should be able to save more money. Of course depends on your lifestyle but your government pays also for a lot of stuff right?
2015-02-16 12:01
damnnnnnnn in poland i can buy hamburger and 500ml water bottle for 1,5euro-3euro xDDDDDD
2015-09-13 19:03
wtf... you work at a super market and get 2500
2015-02-16 12:16
I think my friends mom gets like 3000€, and all she does is wash the floors at a school or something like that... xD
2015-02-16 12:38
then again, the cost of life there is such that you can't live with <2500€ per month... so yea. sincerely yours, random guy tired of these posts about crazy wages and totally neglecting crazy taxes and expensive everyday's life
2015-02-16 12:45
Yeah but when Norvegian want to go on a holiday it will be a lot more cheaper in his eyes.
2015-02-16 13:09
Trust me, u can easily live on 2500 euro in Norway. My mom live on wealthfare (OR whatever its called in english), getting approx 15k euro each month; still has enough money for cigarettes n such
2015-02-16 16:15
You mean 1500 euro each month, right?

my father worked in construction in norway, he got like 3500-4000 every month but holy shit when he told me the price of everything. you also have tasty fanta.
2015-08-16 23:07
Tasty sodas are a trap! When I was in Finland last year to see the friendly between Arsenal and Man. City, I wanted something cool to drink so me and a friend bought 1 vanilla Coca Cola and 1 cherry Coca Cola, those were fucking awful and we decided to make a cocktail and if a hobo didnt take it, then the Coca Cola can is still near a Hesburger.

2015-08-22 12:20
Yes, unfortunately and this is considered as average* salary in Hungary. Most people here make their living out of 300€ or even less. Wish I could. But I don't think I could find a job with my english and education.
2015-08-23 09:21
ezért kellett volna tanulni papa
2016-03-22 19:35
It has nothing to do with education here in Hungary. My education and level of english skills is way above the average. However it is considered bad in a well developed country, such as Denmark, Norway, Germany, etc. Many collage graduetes earn around 500€. Look at the teachers and so.

Study physics in germany, I get like 450 euro from the german state because I also have german citizenship. Then I get around 400 euro from a part time job at a calibration company. My part time job takes just very little time so I guess I'm happy. Studying physics in germany is fucking hard though :( :)
2015-02-16 12:38
Where are you studying? Tried half a year at the TU in Berlin. I just couldn't do the math. ;( too dumb, too lazy. So I'm gonna be an engineer instead.
2015-02-16 12:41
I study at the uni hamburg. Yeah the math is actually really hard. You pretty much just have to work through it and eventually you get it. I'm really lazy as well but I was always good at math so I get by. Like 70% or more are quitting though :o So no shame in it at all engineer is pretty sick too for a long time I though about doing that as well tbh in germany the physics (and I think also the engineering) is a lot harder than in other countries, it's just a lot more theory and math based and really exact in that matter. My friends in france who study physics started like a year earlier than me but I can easily solve their stuff while they struggle hard with mine Also the physics majors in the US have it sooooo much easier, I'm almost jealous of them :(
2015-02-16 12:52
are you really from france? what made you studying physics in germany then? isn't the language barrier a problem but i guess you take part in the international/english courses? i'm in my last "abitur" year and i'm also kinda interesting in maths/physics and i've always thought about studying abroad but i've no idea what to do actually. when i read about all the different universities, places and subjects it's a bit overwhelming. :/ xD
2015-02-16 16:50
I was born in france. My mother is german, my dad is french. I went to a german/french school and I'm fluent in both. My german is probably even better than my french tbh. I have citizenship of both countries. If you think about doing math/physics or something smiliar, do yourself a favour and read up on doing proofs. Here in germany physics is extremely math based and if you don't have the skillset (which mostly means- dedication) to do proofs you will be veryyyy sad. I know from my own experience and from helping "ersties" how hard the transition is between the mostly application based (what they call "analysis" in the oberstufe, but which really isn't tbh) and doing the axiom, proof based first math/theoretical physics courses. After school you don't really know anything about mathematics as a "language". I'd suggest you get yourself a first year textbook and check out some stuff. A good book on real/complex analysis for first year math/physics students will give you insights in what you do. Here in hamburg our first semester math is roughly based on "Analysis" by Otto Forster. Check that out if you think about doing something math/physics based in germany. Don't get scared by this stuff though, to really understand it you mostly need time and dedication. The good thing about germany is obviously, free education and bafög if your parents don't have that much money. Science and especially math based subjects are very high quality. I'd argue you learn more than almost anywhere in the world. They are fairly tough though so you have to deal with that. edit: also somethingg negative about germany if you're doing physics/math/engineeringg: it's based very hard on theoretical foundations, some more practical approaches like I saw in british/american universities might be more effective. On the other this theoretical approach can be a good thing as well. Personal preference I'd say.
2015-02-16 17:13
wow, thanks for this detailed answer! and yeah i'm aware of the fact that our current topics in maths don't force us to think, it's just applying formulas.
2015-02-16 17:39
I assume you have different study lines for theoretical physics / astronomy / geophysics / meteorology etc? At least here in Finland thats the way. I did astrophysics at the University of Helsinki and of course you have to know the math, but there is a lot of programming (matlab, fortran, c++) involved in modeling etc. Only theoretical physics is really hard math, and I have to say that I threw a towel in the ring after doing some complex analysis and those god damn residue integrals, cauchy theorem and jordans lemma :D And I know that is just the beginning of the basics in theoretical physics.
2016-03-22 15:14
Have you attended the ICPS (international confrenss of physics students)? Its pretty much the best part of studying physics :D I think its held in Malta this year. Also there are some poster sessions and lectures by students, and its pretty fun to see the difference in education level on different countries. We have a running joke about one poster from some years ago titled "Basketball physics", it was literally high school math done by some 4th year physics student. GL to your studies bro.

Sorry took so long to reply pal, the new hltv layout looks weird and didn't notice notifications, this is the lockers I knew a while back right? I used to do sass sales for a small crm system provider, currently in digital marketing (mainly seo) and slogging my way up the ladder! If you want to earn good money in the UK try and find a saas company that needs salespeople or any other form of digital software sales and work your way up the ladder, be prepared to literally hate work a lot though. The best to work for from what I was told when working in sales is salesforce, yell, zurmo and lead forensics.

2015-02-16 13:12
But how can we be happy when all the time people expect money for every single thing (food, entertainment etc) We all live in a world where money keeps everything going. It's only human nature for us to want more of anything. Sometimes i wished times were simpler and if we could just step back and slow things down

Welp, I had to pay my bus tickets for 2 years on (at us) middle school, all alone. Not even talking about food and stuff needed for it. I don't even started high school (university), because it's impossible for me. Even if the whole family would collect all the money and live only on water and bread, I would still not be able to pay it. And now, when I must work and pay everything, change for university is 1: 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000.

2015-02-16 19:27
"To be honest, in the EU you won't find many jobs that pay you above 2500k€/month" Yeah say that to Eastern Europeans who get 500€/month: D
2015-02-16 19:32
the average starting salary is about 1400-1500€
2015-02-16 19:33
Not in Eastern Europe.

As a french cadet you get 800e, then comes reefer engineer for around 3000e,(takes about 2 years b4 you can try promotion, beginning with the first contract of cadet) after that you can advance to electrician officer +5000e (at CMA CGM), -(~15%) all round for romanians. And among all senior officers, the elec off gets payed the least. Technically speaking its not working in France or Romania, because you work at sea ... Also its shit because you are isolated at sea (no inet, grillz, friends ...) but after 4 months of work you get minimum 2 of vacation.

2015-02-25 17:29
3200$ / month ... I'm a butcher. :)
2015-08-16 22:18
Then still you're not getting 3200$ a month for chopping some meat (Stop lying). Whats the whole point of accepting Polish/Romanian/Bulgarian workers if they earn as much as local citizens. The whole point of them being in Western Europe is because they are cheap as fuck but can make a decent amount of money in comparison with their own country's.
2015-08-17 15:24
Thats awkward.. you obviously don't know Denmark, so please fuck off. :)

5.5-6k per month after tax... Oil company.. Housing is vey expensive here.. Oh.. Show me 400k worth of house in usa or europe.. And i'll show how it look like here in my country..
2015-08-17 09:02
dude, there are sick like really sick properties in Spain on the beach for that money. I know that there are also similar houses in USA because I saw them (Isle of palms, SCarolina). I don't think you can reasonably compare because in London a shithole can cost as much as a grand palace in Spain, Portugal or Greece.
2015-08-17 09:25
u know what? 350k-400k is an average / middle class housing in my country.... i think for that worth i can but a really bis house somewhere else

I work around 35 hours per week, I am a veterinarian. I don't have a salary as I work in my own place. I make usually around 1000-1100 EUR for 140 hours per month. This is like 7.86 EUR/hour which I know is low for my skills in Western Europe and USA but is pretty high in the third world country that is Bulgaria.

2,200 euro/month (at current exchange rate from brazilian real). I am a professor at a federal university, doctor degree (11 years of superior study - graduation, masters and doctorate). Here in my city I can order a pizza for 5 euro (unlike brazilian biggest cities such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, where a pizza is easily 10 euro).
2015-08-17 15:23
Well you should consider moving out of brazil. I guess you would earn a lot more in germany
2015-08-17 16:03
Switzerland too.
2015-08-17 17:18
Yeah, I imagine. But language would be a big barrier. I have zero german language skills and my english is good enough only for living, but not to teach (even if it was possible in germany, I dont know). Also, I do not know how open an european university is for a foreigner professor, unless if it is a really specific position that is vacant. Nevertheless, as the life-cost here in my city is somewhat low , it is possible to live as middle-class, and at least my job is soft and I enjoy it :)

I work as a book-keeper/financial manager for a family company (3 days a week) I'm an all-rounder in a cafe (2 days a week) and at night time i do a courier run for an accounting firm between their offices (400km a night 5 nights a week) I have lots of money but no time or no one to spend it on hahah
