The stretching generally happens when u change to very high resolution & when u switch back it stretches. I think u should do it from monitor settings & change size etc. It works 90% times.

what do you mean by change size 0_0? why should i adjust it when it is giving me 800x600. basically the problem is i can't play on 640x480 in 32-bit.

Regedit--> HKEY_CURRENT_USER-->software-->Valve--> half life-->settings open settings change screenwidth & screenheight (change hEX to DEC) then input value 640 & 480

delete your GUI if your using some kind of. Example: ESL GUI has registry automatically to set your game resolution to 800x600 640x480.. maybe you've done such a thing and that's making your problem.

i didnt understand well whats your problem, sorry but did you tried to put -w 640 -h 480 on cs launch options or a lower refresh rate?

have u created a custom res for 640x480 at 120Hz as win7 does not have this as standard for some reason.

Can someone who uses win7 tell me if it effects anything with cs? I have been using XP for a very long time and I want to switch to win7, can I still use mousefix? Is there any acceleration if I use the noforce commands? My current PC has 4gb ram and with winxp 32 I can only use 2gb. Are there alot of glitches? I also heard they are coming out with a new version of windows soon.

i m using win 7 32 bit & its same as xp. Either use noforce commands or MarkC's mouse fix.
