Nowadays here in portugal there are too many gathers but i think none will ever have the level of organisation that gather-network has, beside GN has way bigger reputation and hosts way more channels

there's a website as well(ihl-cs.darkbb.com), but the gathers happens on irc yes. the players are mostly Norwegians, Swedes and maybe Danes, I believe, so I don't know whether they communicate in Norwegian/Swedish(similar languages) or English.
