You know Xyp9x can really show up? He can play really well and get a lot of kills. He's just never put in a situation where he can do that. He is usually the clutch player.

cluching is still one of the things you have to do as a support. Support players need to be able to keep thier heads calm, and find ways to best support thier star player, or site partner. Also being alone on one site, in other words anchoring the site and being able to delay long enough for the rotate or being able to trade 2/1 is needed to be a good support player. sry for bad englando and plz insert theese .,.,.
never said it was. just trying to explain to you that clutcher isn't a set role but something most pro level player are able to do, even support players. Some do it better than others but nearly all players are able to and get in the situations. But as far as i can tell by your posts, its only about the term "clutcher" and you simply ingore the rest.

Xyp3x is one of their most important player. He makes sure the others can entry and makes sure they can BE those madfraggers you know them as. And when they fail to step it up, he will often find himself in 1v2 or worse situations, which he's one of the best players in the world at.
tl;dr: xyp3x is an amazing player who's amazing at his role in the team

True. I do think aizy is a better player now than he was in TSM (ex-dig) but he wouldn't be put in a position to shine with dupreeh, device and cajunB around him. Need someone to the dirty work and Xyp9x does it really well.
But that's what most want. Stack 5 players with the best stats without thinking about how it would actually work in practice.
