- Useless "heaven"/big ladder position that is never used post-plant by T's, or by CT's ever. It's just a dead-weight spot. - The position of T-middle leading to outside makes absolutely no sense.. The map is insanely CT sided because T-mid and ladder room can be covered by the same 1-2 people as they're right beside each other. - The Awp angles outside are fucking stupid.. Go play the 1.6 version of train.. That is how awp angles should be.. It's nigh impossible for anyone to awp anything on T-side at the A-site because there is shit-all for angles to work with. - No train beside ladder room outside is dumb (why they took popdog train out I don't know). - There is still the E-box, but its just randomly standing there in the middle of nowhere, beside nothing else, kind of just on its own... Nothing to use for cover to get to it (like popdog train), its actually used more by fucking CT's of all things as opposed to T's.... - That stupid spool hiding spot area at the inner bombsite below the ladder leading to upper needs to be taken out.. Just makes the map even more CT sided. Just a few gripes about the current version of train that first come to mind... And I could easily think of even more. If you're really a fan of the current version of train, I'm assuming that you've never played cs 1.6 and the 1.6 version of train that was generally one of the most liked maps by the competitive community at the time.

-thats not true. -that makes no sense. -the angles are different to 1.6 yeah. that doesnt make them stupid and by no means could u ever accurately say that awping on outside train is useless or even remotely difficult. -i dont know either why they took it out, but i dont see a problem either, as u can easily enter and exit that area of the map with proper grenade usage -its an object that provides cover, whats the problem? would u rather have it removed? it plays a big part in the metagame of both ct and t side. -that spot can easily be checked even while being covered by the bomb train and unless ur really retarded its at the very best a one and done spot for any ct hiding there. i have no clue how u come to the conclusion that the map is terribly ct sided, as good train teams can always get a lot of rounds on t side and are probably aiming for around 7.

I agree with some of his points, but I'd say he's just one of those nostalgic guys who will never like anything that isn't 1.6 train which is just bullshit. I like the new train, it's fresh. The heaven are is usable, but not OP. The only thing i don't like is the lack of cover outside popdog. Even if they won't bring back the train there, a bit more cover would be nice :)

I talked with some people and they said tuscan has a problem with molotovs.. Its not playble cuz you can molotov the whole A site off and get an easy entry to site and stuff like this... I miss nuke aswell but there has to be some changes

One of the problems with the current version of Nuke is the upper rushes at the start of the round are easily thwarted by CT's just simply molotoving hut as they get up heaven, and then smoking hut from there after the molly... Although one could make the same argument for taking B on inferno I guess..

True, but compared to many other maps if you try to push through the molly, flash through smoke or just run out dry it's gonna be extremely hard since you have to check so many spots as T.

the main problem with that is the positioninal advantage that any ct has that plays from the rafters. they can get there quicker than u can get to hut and they can start shooting at ur legs before u can even see them. the mollies and smokes are not the problem, as u can do that on most any site like i said, and nuke upper even has 2 immediate entrances with hut and squeaky.

Most teams get around 5-7 t sides on Cache, 5-7 on dust 2, etc etc. No one's complaining about those maps... Not all maps need to be the same and have the same tendencies

+1 seems like people are crying about maps being ct-sided just because everyone is. No one gives a legit reason to why it's bad. I, personally don't mind if a map is T or CT-sided. As long as it's a good, enjoyable map. However, on Nuke I felt like all T-sides ended up with trying to take over yard and hope to get down to B without getting sprayed through the smoke. Both when playing myself and when wathing proffessionals.

Omg every map must be like dust 2. We need every map to have a central mid which can access multiple routes to both bomb sites. In seriousness, you complain all you want about the ct sidedness of nuke. But it was still a very competeive map. All maps have their tendencies. Just because one map favors one side more strongly than most other maps doesn't mean it's bad and needs to be changed.

It actually does mean its bad, even the pros said the same thing, the maps need to be more balanced, on nuke it was basically u start CT 90% you secured the win, dont try to sound like a smartass, the map was broken, even if you did some nice strats the CT could rotate so fast you would get rekt, no one is saying all maps need to be like dust2, the map was just too one sided and boring

Theres a small difference between dust2 ending 10-5 / 8-7 / 9-6 / 6-9 then nuke ending 13-2 / 12-3 / 14-1

It wasn't any more CT-sided then the de_nuke that was loved so much in 1.6.. So I don't see whats so much worse. One thing I would modify is put a few more hiding spots at lower for T's for post-bombplant.. The sliding doors on the 1.6 version of nuke were great... The current toxic room at lower is just fucking retarded.

nuke wasnt that CT sided in 1.6 for 3 reasons: 1. smokes/molotovs, now on nuke you can stop rushes by simply putting up a smoke or a molotov and rip, you can also delay the Ts by rotating smokes 2. The Secret and toxic, people actually thought it was helping Ts but in reality its helping CTs more 3. The vents, in 1.6 the rotations were slower because you had to crawl through vents

That was a reason but not the main one, the smokes are the main reason the game is different, now you can smoke a chokepoint and its basically like a wall, in 1.6 it wasnt, you could run into sites and not run like a blind chicken not knowing where you are

+1, you just forgot wallbang mate and Nuke 1.6 was 60-70% ct sided (still not like in CS:GO). However, it was really fun to play nuke and pro matchs were watchable. It was my favorite map.
