wtf is that backround noise is the arena a pool
2017-07-22 03:47
I have no clue but it's annoying as fuck. This is by far the ''worst'' dreamhack start in a while. Not that the tournament is bad, but the start has been miserable. And I mean in terms of production, sure you will always get tech problems, but really, the internet going down? There has to be a backup for that one, lol. And yeah, again, that background noise is completely shit, they should try to remove it to the second day, and I feel like dreamhack should be able to do that. Maybe I'm wrong tho... who knows.

People on reddit were bitching about echo at the major but that wasn't even annoying. This shit is on another level.
2017-07-22 03:59
Yeah, the eco adds some cool stuff as well, you can really feel that you're watching a major playoff game. Sure it can be annoying, but it has some good effects as well. This is crap, why isn't there an option to only capture the sound nearest to you? There is an option for that on most ''expensive'' microphones. Sure this is a headset but I used to record some stuff back in the day, and I bought a 100 dollar microphone and I had the best possible settings for not capturing background noise etc. And that's me with a 100 dollars, common now. Either get better equipment or fix the equipment, I have no idea what they're using, but being a 100k dollar event, money should be spent on these kind of things as well, imo. Edit: misspelling, lul.

It's not even like there's actually a crowd either lol Atlanta's a terrible location. Biased because I live here (Phoenicia ftw) but I want more events in new york. ESL One NY was one of the few NA events (that and columbus) who actually drew a lot of people. If not many people show up to the atlanta major what makes you think they're showing up to DH lol.

0-6 to 11-7 good shit HellRaisers, now jus close it out please :)
2017-07-22 04:05
I'm confident they will. They're a much better team even when not in their best form. Imagine them winning that ct pistol, it's most likely an 11-4 or 12-3 type of half. Their ct mirage is incredibly good, their ct sides overall are really powerful, and their t sides has gotten very good too.

The odds for HellRaisers were better than I thought they would be for this game. Guessing it's because of the all green history Renegades has lol
2017-07-22 04:11
Yeah, the odds were too good to pass on, for me at least. In these dreamhack events, HellRaisers will always turn up and get themselves a semifinal every time. These are some of the mid tier events they attend, and they seem to do well in them most of the time.

solid choke by HR 16-14 RNG :)
2017-07-22 04:14
Time to choke HR :D
2017-07-22 04:16
It feels like when HR is losing rounds on this t side, they have the advantage, and most of the rounds they win are very good from them, many staying alive etc etc. A few mistakes is all it costs for them to throw away some of these rounds, and it's showing.

Hell Raisers has lost like 3 rounds due to not having control of A slope, why is no one staying there to counter exactly what renegades has done for so many rounds? And that round on b were nifty gets 3 frags, that should never happen, no matter what awper it is, he has to get traded there.

He is in so many games these days, he has a game here or there, but mostly he takes random peeks, goes too aggressive when he doesn't have the skillset for it.

2017-07-22 04:30
Nifty is getting pretty good.
2017-07-22 04:31
Deadfox has fallen of so hard, he's not the player he was a few months ago. Again, it's Hell Raisers already thinking they've won when they have a lead, and this isn't the first time we've seen this. Honestly, I still think they're going to the semis at worst, but this game was such a free win if they just trade properly and check their angles. Just look at that last round, how is ustilo allowed to get 2? No where in hell should that happen. The t side looked so good untill they thought it was won already, and it was so obvious. You could see how they became lazy as they got a bigger lead, and fell in the clutches, got tilted and couldn't come back. Horrible, no excuse for a team such as HR to fall to Renegades on LAN.
2017-07-22 04:32
cry is free lmao
2017-07-22 04:35
Yeah, how is that a cry? Explain, please, I'll gladly read it. I just explained how HR lost and why they lost. A bit frustrated, for sure, crying? Not at all.

Everything leads me that Hellraisers will be involved in CIS shuffle. It seems to me like they don't care too much about this tournament because they know they will disband. Maybe Angel to Navi? Not sure because he is a shareholder/co-owner of HR. It's really painful to watch HR matches as a fan. I cannot understand how can be one's form changed so drastically. I mean what happened after their great performance after Starladder?
