Heroic lost against GODSENT on inferno, if they somehow win this...
2017-08-24 22:06
can Astralis win a pistol round is the question, didn't seem to matter on the last map
2017-08-24 22:10
doesn't seem to matter on this map either
2017-08-24 22:49
2-0 astralis win second map ofc
2017-08-24 22:11
3-0 = 3-12 great T side Heroic.

rounds won by Heroic: the pistol round and the following 2 1v2 unbelievable that they have won all 4 pistols so far and still the games aren't even close

JUGI has been huge for Heroic for these first few matches. During the next shuffle, he will probably be moving to a top team

He's really good, but device wants to awp and he is obviously better. The only danish team that he could go is North but i don't see them replacing cajunb soon.

That's what I was thinking too but I could see JUGI having a huge season and Device being just average this season and Astralis making a big change. It would shock me to see it happen but more than likely when North inevitably don't do well in any event that will keep making changes and probably spend big to get him.

I think device/dupreeh/xyp9x will never get kicked from astralis, they're like a package deal.

I think Gal1ve has to be included in that mix. He is a top tactical IGL (his fragging has increased a bit but he is nowhere near FalleN or Shox's level). Despite what happened yesterday on overpass, Astralis has been nearly unbeatable on that map since they won their major. They are a well-drilled team and I think a large portion of that is due to his ability to lead that team. Astralis as a whole are a good team and it's hard to pick out a "weak" player. Today kjaerbye bottom fragged but tomorrow it might be Gal1ve or Device. One thing that we can be certain of though is that at least one player can carry the fragging for them. they just need to hit top form again and they will be scary like they were when they won the major.

Yap, I didn't included him because he's not with device/dupreeh/xyp9x since the dignitas days, but i totally agree with you, he's for sure top 3/5 IGL in the world and he's almost always (every player has bad games) solid in terms of fragging.

He's quite consistently either 3rd or 4th fragger but rarely is the bottom. Which allows a player to have a bad game and the team not fall apart. Off topic but aren't Astralis, Heroic, and Godsent all owned by the parent same company? I just hope that when they bring back Dust2 they don't remove overpass because that is like a free map for them right now and teams don't ban it ;).

Yap, they're all owned by RFRSH. I think they will either remove cobble (many pros said that it isn't a good map) or mirage (although its one of the favorite maps, they never made changes and it's in the pool for a long time).

I've read that cobble is a possibility just because so many people are prepared for it because it's been unchanged for a while and pros have gotten too familiar with it. I also don't want them to remove mirage it is quite an even map and nearly always gives a good show when T1 teams play on it.

Yeah, I like mirage a lot too, it's a map different from all the others, lots of strategies as well, it's always cool to see strategic teams playing on it. IMO they should remove Nuke (I just don't like to watch pro matches on it) but will not happen since it was added to the pool recently.

The popular opinion of Nuke is that it isn't good too, but for some reason when I'm just playing in casual mode I play it very often. I think they will probably make some simple tweaks to Cobble and then bring it back out and then try to fix Nuke (if that's even possible). I wonder if Valve is thinking about just expanding the map pool just to make it a bit more interesting.

i Bet on Heroic with -3.5 on Astralis handicap... If 13-16 = win But i lose bcuz 1 fucking round!! OMFG
2017-08-24 23:16
I feel you, I bet on Astralis -3.5 but let's be honest, the only reason the game was close is because Heroic won both pistol rounds and the following rounds
