Your life isnt shit m8, it just sucks that you lost the bet. Im not best person to speak about this, but just save some money for the major matches
2018-01-18 22:55
sry bro and I appreciate it but you don't know anything about my life it's not like i lost everything ("only" lost like 10% of my bankroll because of these retarded throws today) but its just so annoying to lose a bet from 15-7 and it shouldn't have even happened like i dont get it...

Make a list of teams you don't bet on...I avoid Bulgarians and low tier Chinese matches because of throws burning me. I avoid French teams cause they suck when I bet on them and win when I bet against them. It isn't a loss if you learn from your mistake! Personally I avoid handicaps on maps mostly, because I find I do better just picking map winner or match winner than doing handicaps. Make rules/guidelines based on learning from your losses, and no loss makes you a loser it will turn you into an even better bettor!
2018-01-18 23:13
sorry if I seemed mad or depressed or whatever, but when you lose like 3-4 stupid bets in a row which you should have won, and then you are like "hey finally I win a bet, my team is winning 15-7!" and then NOPE they lose your money in the most stupid way. it's just veeeery frustrating. i have been betting for years, so I somewhat know what I'm doing, but it's hard to stay calm after a hard day. And yes, I think I'll avoid negative handicaps for these games, when even AGO and eXtatus are throwing games left and right it's just always a risk especially HDCP's are :/

I don't blame you 1 bit for feeling bad...it isn't even just about $. I feel really excited and hyped when winning, especially a streak, and when I lose many bets I get down, even if I am up overall $ wise. But ya, my best advice is just to avoid handicaps. The ONLY handicap I take anymore is -2.5 because I KNOW a team doesn't usually want to let a team get that close, but this proves even that can fail. I have been picking ML winners mainly, sometimes single maps BUT my handicap I DO like is maps. I love picking 2-0s and am pretty succesful with them, I usually also do a ML bet so that I break even if it is 2-1 but win big if it is 2-0 and both bets win. If the team loses Im fucked and sad. But ya handicaps were risky before, and with with the new "we win but handithrow" type shit its even worse.
2018-01-19 00:24

that seems to be the new throw, instead of losing, just blow handicaps OR throw early and make a huge comeback so people make bank on live odds. those 2 type of throws seem to happen more now. Don't be surprised, Bulgarians are very well known for throwing/fixing IMO...all the way back to EFrag days (which some of these guys played for). Bulgaria average salary is like 3-4k USD a year so they need that dough!

awww it says you replied to me but it won't show your reply...HLTV hiding it cause they don't want us spreading the truth about the new handi throws and live comeback throws...winning is the new way to throw just doing it right, and we know Bulgarians are masters!

lol just cause you lose a bet doesn't mean it is a throw man come on...don't be silly. It isn't like they ran 3 AWPS and an autosniper or some weird shit, a double AWP setup is common and can work very well, it just gets fucked in a retake situation if there's not enough riflers but it is very strong at denying entry/forcing entry IF it works out

I can't blame em 1 bit...when you can make a years salary in 1 throw, and do it many times a year, why not. I mean if a team can go to majors and stuff than of course not, but for tier 3 or lower teams why not get that $ especially when a player can get more than their family makes in a year throwing a few games, shit I'd do it. AND best part is with the new handicap throws dont even have to lose and really throw the game! just blow some rounds and win and get paid! But I still bet this turk is salty and lost a bet

lol I think you'd have to cancel a bet BEFORE the match...would be pretty cool if you could cancel midway through though we would all be rich! Good luck! Mans Not Hot is pretty good when I have watched, but Windigo has some good players and has been playing well too! I think it is 50/50...good luck! Bubble is playing awesome and I THINK he is good on Cobble if I remember correctly so you have a good chance!

You can cancel bets on the good bookie sites usually, but they take a cut then.

Yep during the match. Like I said they take a pretty big cut then, if if your losing you can atleast get a small amount back of what you placed.

ah kind of like "surrender" in blackjack when dealer shows an ace. I can't see how it would be worth doing...maybe after 1-0 if you know your gonna lose and it is worth getting 10% back...but I gotta think the amount back is so small that one would be better off just risking the bet, overall I think some would comeback to win and payout more in the long-run than the tiny cut. I have never seen that, but then again I never looked for it as I wouldn't consider doing it for a tiny %. How much back do you know? I can't imagine more than 5-15% I guess it depends on situation/score etc.

Depends on the situation, I dont have an number but you can even get profit if you cashout while your team is leading.

sure, but I doubt many people do that unless they are afraid their team would choke. I know people that hedge by betting live, and often work out small-medium profits no matter who wins if they time it right. For people that like to do that I could see it being cool, but I like to make my bet and stick with it because I have had tons of bets comeback from being down big, and if my team is winning I don't want a small profit I want to believe they will keep winning! But interesting to know...I think this would be a big trap, sort of like live betting is for some OR beneficial for the people the set it up to profit no matter what

Yeah, dont think many people use it, but as long as some people use it why not offer it.

sure, I agree. Especially because something like that (along with live bets) can be very profitable (small but guaranteed profit on both sides) for smart people that set it up but MOST people just lose big $ doing it by: 1.cashing out a team losing, that ends up coming back to win 2.live bet- people bet on other team to balance their bet, but then their team ends up coming back to win and they blew their profit. it sounds like the same trap as live betting to me, good for the few that use it wisely but mostly a panic button that just rakes in cash for the site...but like you said who can blame them if someone wants to give the site more $ the site will gladly offer it and take it!

Like sometimes you have this feeling there will be a comeback. Like Red Reserve vs North Aca. today, as soon as I saw the Halftime score I had the felling red reserve will win. So if I would have placed on North Aca. at that point easy cashout.

true, and your feeling was correct. I am just thinking in the long term average it would be less profitable than just riding a bet out. A little $ bet live on RR would probably pay better...BUT I am talking on average, if you can be right about the swings often like you were then maybe it could workout

GL! It is a close 1 I think, IDK if Windigo is the better team, but I do think they are the better team on Cobble! bubble and v1c7oR are beasts on Cobble last time I saw them play it

Yupp, feeling comfortable even if they lost the anti-forcebuy. Too big of a lead to throw away I feel like, especially when you're the better team.

yup...I agree. with 10-5 or 11-4 rounds you can lose 1 and still come back....but at 12-3 you can't even drop 1 IMO so I think it is over...YUP as a write this it went to 14-6. I'd be shocked to see a comeback UNLESS Windigo is really handicap throwing every map and wins this by 2 or 3 to get that $
