NRG are on an 11 match win streak right now. Looking like a really strong team this year. Hopefully no team steals cerq from them for a while.

Or nahtE, But at any time Liquid could steal Cerq and if Jkaem doesn't stay on Renegades then Renegades might steal nahtE and NRG would be back to square 1 xD

Or nahtE is right. He has over a 1.3 rating this year. I don't know how much RNG and NRG orgs are worth and how much their players are paid but I suspect that it would have to be a good offer for any players on NRG to leave for RNG. I see the current NRG lineup as having much more potential than RNG. Liquid or C9 could get any of them if they wanted though. I could even see a big org in EU making cerq an offer. It's only a matter of time before cerq starts getting offers from T1 teams in EU.

NRG more potential than RNG? Nah no way dude, RNG have better salaries and just overall better, + Free ticket to the major with the new system, Besides RNG were in the top 10 HLTV rankings 2 weeks ago now they are 11th, NRG have always been decent online but have literally never done anything on LAN ever

I honestly think this NRG lineup will (and may already be) be better than RNG. I'm aware RNG is ranked higher and have much more success at making lans etc. But we don't know what this current NRG lineup will do since it's brand new and they are so far looking a lot better than before. I'm also aware that NRG have always flopped at lans (i've been an NRG fan from the start because of FugLy) but I think it's unfair to judge this current NRG with the past. We'll see though. PS. How do you know what their salaries are?

You're saying NRG is better than Renegades because of online results? Even online results Renegades have been better, The last time they played Renegades destroyed them - hltv.org/matches/2318990/renegades-vs-nr.. Renegades have been playing better with Jkaem than NAF, And yes i know NAF is overall the better player but the team clicks better with Jkaem, Jks is back to being the star and everyone is performing, It's all market, Renegades are the best Australian team by a mile, That means that have a tone of fans in Australia, Helps with sponsors, content, ect, + With the new major system Renegades are making the major every single time (I think they'd make it anyway) So that makes the team even more valuable, Thorin says it well in this video - youtube.com/watch?v=2EycLWlC9ls

I can see all your points, though, I say that result 6 weeks ago is not relevant now since NAF was on RNG and NRG hadn't developed much yet (you say they are better with jkaem but I'm not convinced they are). Of course, I'm speculating based on the recent online results and perhaps it's wishful thinking, but online or not, NRG looked strong against liquid and optic. I don't count SK since SK had high pings and probably lacked some motivation playing at 4am in EU with 150 ping. My main point is I believe in the long run NRG will end up the stronger team if all things remain as they are now. NRG definitely needs to start making some lans besides ESL PL though. I hope we get to see Liquid vs NRG final tomorrow. It should give us a good gauge on things. I know it's not a big lan but Liquid are a top 5 T1 team atm and if NRG can at least test them and perhaps even beat them that will tell me they are the real deal.

Not saying Jkaem individually is better than NAF but the entire team is playing better without NAF, Jks is back to the star, AZR seems to have more confidence, Ustilo doesn't have to bait for NAF every round (Like how Taco does for Cold) And Nifty is Nifty, It just works better, And they made playoffs at Star series the first LAN event with Jkaem losing to FaZe (Obviously nothing embarrassing about that) Why would you think that? NRG is just a farm team for teams like C9/Liquid/Renegades, If Liquid wanted to remove Steel they would instantly get a player from NRG because no C9 player would leave and the Australians are very loyal to Renegades and have turned away better offers in the past (Mainly Jks) Sooner or later Cerq and nahtE will upgrade and NRG will go straight back down, They can't always trust in getting an underrated player from EU to be the star of the team, Don't get your hopes up, Liquid is miles ahead of NRG

I know what you were saying about jkaem since you made it clear the first time. My response had nothing to do with comparing NAF and jkaem individually but I clearly said "you say they (RNG) are better with jkaem but I'm not convinced. You say Liquid are miles ahead but if that were true NRG wouldn't have 2-0'd them the other day in ECS. Will you still say that if NRG manage to play Liquid tomorrow and win, or perhaps challenge them in a close series? Now you got me looking forward to April 10th when RNG and NRG play in ESL PL!

So, by your logic, since online CS doesn't mean anything teams shouldn't try to win online. It's not like the online matches determine who makes it to lan...

Online cs is literally just a pug for top teams, Especially EPL online matches, Why give away everything you have been working on for almost meaningless matches?

I understand teams hold back certain strats they are working on for bigger events but I also know that men are extremely competitive and no one likes losing. People don't like losing at all at anytime doing anything. If you are a true competitor then it doesn't matter what it is you want to win. To pretend that players don't care about losing online matches because they aren't as important is silly imo. No player ever wants to lose at all at any time (excluding snakes who lose on purpose for ulterior motives).

You don't know what's going on behind the scenes, CS is a very momentum based game, Going into EPL online games just wanting it to be over isn't competitive, There is a reason you never see any new strats / boosts ect in online matches, I'm guessing you've never been to a LAN before, The environment is completely different and it's an entire new level of competitiveness, You never reach that same level of competitiveness and drive in online matches

Also I just found this "The team was founded by Gerard Kelly and Sacramento Kings co-owners Andy Miller and Mark Mastrov[1] in December 2015. On March 18, 2016, the team announced that Alex Rodriguez, Shaquille O'Neal and Jimmy Rollins were joining as investors" They have a lot of money behind them. So, perhaps if they start putting up results they won't let their players be bought so easily.

Should be a pretty easy win for NRG but you know CS can be unpredictable and all it takes is a couple players to have a bad day and a couple on the other team to have a really good day and then you have an upset. Individually, players on any pro teams are much closer in skill than people think so anything can happen. I remember back in 2014 when NIP was a top 3 team and they played some nonamers and the odds were like 98:2 and NIP lost. I've seen it many times so nothing is guaranteed.

they should ve gotten sick when they had the chance. now he is stuck in rogue(altho got a huge salary) dude as fucking free. why nly take ethan? you literally tried to get riko for daps. fuck man. there goes my dream with each match.

Salary in rogue?
2018-03-18 20:57
i dont exactly know how much but going by what the people in the scene said and seangares insinuated it as a hefty one compared to the teams stature. so i assume he is getting at least c9 or liquid money.

Ethan is a fucking god!
2018-03-18 21:01
he is. so is sick. they were the best rated na players last season of esl and ecs. sick at one point was the best among all players statistically. literally carried misfits to the epl lan considering the wins they got at the beginning. if they got them both(both were free agents) they could ve made a team that was straight fire and could compete with c9 and liquid without being treated as underdogs.
2018-03-18 21:04
ptr could be an amazing pickup for nrg. just get rid of cerq
2018-03-18 21:06
good bait. i actually got triggered.
2018-03-18 21:06
thanks, took me like 7 minutes to think of it
2018-03-18 21:07
real talk. if lets say cerq goes back to eu. whod ya get for him?
2018-03-18 21:08
uhhhhhh. well first instinct would be to get jdm immediately as a temp replacement but idk where to go from there. I don't really see any available awpers in MDL good enough to be potential talent.
2018-03-18 21:09
i like ace as a team player. but honestly id just get koosta. people underrate the guy since he shit the bed on liquid. that being said. fuck primary awpers man. just get riflers.
2018-03-18 21:10
oh shit. i forgot about torqued and eunited. get moose ffs
2018-03-18 21:11
no. moose is reserved until liquid implodes so you guys can get a canadian only team that can compete. (french canadians not included, fuck those cunts)

3 years younger moe with minimum 50 hours in 2 weeks, and lets make him poor again. hed do better than half the epl na awpers.
2018-03-18 21:12
jdm/rickeh
2018-03-18 21:12
i like jdm but he is still too one dimensional. so you get a shit rotator and shit clutcher in return. rickeh i like a lot but im guessing he is a toxic cunt?
2018-03-18 21:14
dunno the deal with rickeh tbh mysterious guy all we know is that he had personal issues with renegades
2018-03-18 21:15
and koosta afterwards. altho i dont like the whole "toxic" argument. some people are just too beta to deal with people that speak their minds. and you just dont get too beta if ur a cs player. it might just be an aussie issue.

I was watching Rogue matches like 2 months ago, they were losing every match against t2 teams. And now they are 2-0 vs Luminosity and comeback from 7-13 vs team who beat SK and Liquid 2-0. Typical NA scene.

One thing I have seen recently more and more is t's getting the bomb down and they never try to hunt down the saving weapons. And eventually in like 60-70% of the cases these weapons then win the next round.
