2018-05-16 00:18
The way NRG played earlier... If MVP gets a good start I actually think they can grab a map or possibly even 2, they're pretty much on pair with Tyloo in terms of performance, and I think most people would agree that Tyloo could take this one, and I believe MVP can too. Sure, it'll be difficult, but it's definitely doable for MVP.
2018-05-16 00:22
Of all of the Asian teams, MVP PK play the most classical style of CS. If they had the skill of some of the players on TyLoo, they'd be a pretty fucking good team. Probably of the same ilk as WeMadeFox or project_kr
2018-05-16 00:59
I agree, the slightly less skill compared to Tyloo is being made up for with their very ''EU like'' playstyle, as you noted. This lineup has potential to do damage, and surely there are some Korean talents who's going to get the chance in the future, and then we might have a lineup such as the ones you listed.

Also, Solo on LAN pogchamp. It's like it's 1.6 all over again isn't it :P?

They've been super pro-active with their nade usage... Three flash pushes through B (one of them being four players), three pop-flashes through the A-main smoke, three times they've boosted somebody shroud, even a flash push squeaky. Edit: Their playbook could have been written on a napkin, but its working lol

There's still a big chance that NRG comes back and wins this 2-1, as inferno isn't in the mix and I'd say that is MVP's best map. What they need is some confidence, they had that in Sydney but it's gone here it seems. What a first map from MVP, definitely impressed!
