I mean it's literally a case where you get rewarded for playing like an absolute stupid fuck, lol. There was no coordination on that push down mid and they just got lucky being able to run around in apps and mid, getting a flank on every T player, lol. I'm assuming you meant who I have winning Overpass, and I just have MVP picking up the series and while the chance of that just went down, I wouldn't see any favorite on any of these maps, hence why I took the 3x odds and went with MVP. Order are hella overrated in my opinion, and if anyone is referring to their 80% winrate on Overpass I'd just say they've played 5 games, 4 of them versus shitty AU teams and 1 where they lost to a lower tier EU team on LAN, getting beaten 5-16. Coinflip, I'd bet on MVP Money Line if I were you, a livebet that is, for the value it brings.

Yeah, honestly the pistols in CS:GO are beyond fucking stupid; the CZ is just the most highlighted at the moment. They need to nerf ALL the pistols. I remember a few years ago where if you won the pistol round, you had a 90% chance of getting up 3-0, and now it has considerably lowered. Also, there are so many ridiculous anti-eco rounds won, and as showcased in this match, they basically decided the victor of Inferno with ORDER winning an EXTREMELY CRUCIAL round on a force-buy. And that pistol round was just bullshit, like mostly all CS:GO is at the moment. I just watched a team go from being up 13-2 on cache (T side) to being down 18-15 in overtime, and proceeding to lose 19-16, (the last round being a 5v3 btw). When they pushed down mid to T spawn the first time, it was incredibly uncoordinated, and that flank in appts was just so lucky. I agree that this game is pretty even overall though, and even though MVP has never really played overpass, neither has ORDER (against notable opponents, aside from that time where they got fucking destroyed by Spirit). I just bet on MVP ML for map 2, so we will see! GL to you dude, haven't seen you around recently.
2018-06-07 06:35

I agree with this, pistols are completely broken and this time it favored (and saved) Order. Would've most likely been a 13-2 half, and even if it was 11-4 that pistolround which might work out in 1 out of 10 times just got Order back into the game. Sounds good with MVP ML map 2! Yeah I've been kinda busy recently, been watching the matches but haven't really had the time to write too much here on HLTV, getting back to it though :P

It definitely "should" have been 13-2, or 12-4, with a good chance of being 14-4 after winning the T pistol. Let's hope they still have some gas in the tank to fight here on map 2! Glad you are back dude. You're probably one of the most level-headed users on this website, so it's nice to have an alternate perspective.

Yupp, If Xign gets going as he usually does, there's no better player on the server expect possibly Liazz. Always good to be here on HLTV writing a bunch of stuff, lol, even when met with angry users I do find it funny for some reason. You're right dude, Xign is a beast. I am also actually pleasantly surprised with how termi has been performing... at least he is better than average I'd say & he is filling HSK's shoes pretty well, and not dragging the team down. And yeah, it's pretty fun to write on HLTV. Actually, I don't know why, but I have been just venting a lot on here lately lmao... I don't understand why, but a lot of people are always venting about the game in the comments, most likely also fellow bettors, but it's not like it will do anything to change the outcome.... so I don't understand why I do it? I guess it is just good to write down your thoughts sometimes, after your team is losing some pretty tilting rounds. I think there are more reasonable users here, except they are all drowned out by the gambling community hahaha.
2018-06-07 06:49

Termi was a decent player when he was on this roster around a year ago, what's surprising me is that he's able to play like this, being quite inactive in terms of professional level of play it would seem, at the age of 31. I think someone said he was their coach or something. I agree, it's quite fun to do some random analysis or just write about for example how broken the CZ is, which has been a thing I've written a few comments about recently and how it changes games and series on its own. MVP looking good early on here on Overpass, sure it was the same with inferno but I rather have them being 7-0 up than 0-7 down, lol.

I honestly didn't watch many MVP games back there, but his name does seem familiar. I also read one of the comments earlier that stated he was their coach. I was just astounded that he is currently 31 and actually doing pretty decently... unfortunately we don't really have any players over the age of 30 who have broken that existing stigma of performing well after "30". As you said, Xign is on FIRE! And that is proving to be key! Also, I am still a bit hesitant because they are on CT side, but at least this good start should immediately give them a boost of confidence, and reassurance that the series is in fact "not over yet". I will relax only if I see a 13-2 half lol, other than that I am petrified of ORDER's CT sides.

Solo is 30 as well and he's been doing very well with this lineup. Great to see a 1.6 legend doing well in CSGO even if he's from a region where CS ain't as big as in EU. Yeah, I'm not really worried about Order playing good as CT's, I'm more worried about MVP having a useless T side, lol. I guess it's the same thing really but yeah... xD

Solo has been pretty good as well. He is also a pretty cool guy from what I have seen. MVP really need T side pistol here... no matter what happens, whether they win out the half or not... I just feel like they will absolutely REQUIRE it here.

Yeah I mean alistair had a great chance at winning it due to him knowing the position of both the CT's and they were quite low HP. Starting to fall apart here, they gotta get 9 rounds I feel like, and even then they're in danger if they lose pistol.

Yeah, to be honest this is what I hate about CS:GO and Counter-strike in general... the economy. If you win a pistol round which is completely 50/50 IMO, then first gun round, you are already up 5-0 and basically won the half. That is completely broken.
2018-06-07 07:06
3 replies
Yeah that's true, but you can't take that away from counterstrike. I just wouldn't be the same. It's a bit broken for sure, but if we remove the pistolround and economy aspect of the game, we will just want it back as it wouldn't feel like counterstrike. What makes CS unique compared to other FPS games is the economy aspect, and without that I just feel like it would be far too similar to Battlefield or such games, and sure the gameplay is very different, but the concept would be too similar for me to enjoy it.

I have to disagree here, I would love if pistol rounds were removed from the game... it would immediately put both teams into the main setting of the game - gun rounds, and decide from the get-go who is the most skilled team. Also, it would never really feel like any other FPS game, as it is just so inherently different regardless of the economy, compared to any other shooter. The entire premise that CS was built on is the "plant and defuse" mechanics. That, combined with a max of 30, short rounds will be what makes CS, CS.

I have a different opinion, and I think a community with different opinions is a good thing. I do think there could be something to be done about exactly how much money each team gains for winning / losing and getting kills with certain guns etc, but for me, pistolround is iconic for CSGO and if we remove it, it wouldn't feel the same to me. One thing would be to remove the impact it has, if there's a way to do that, but even that would be a big change for me personally, as the iconic ''win pistol go 3-0 up'' is something I for some reason enjoy even though it might be a bit ''broken'', if you win first gunround. I will agree upon that the gameplay for CS is different to any other game, such a high skill ceiling in general as well. There's a reason this game has survived for so long.

Also, the entire concept of "double saving" is just hysterically pointless. It really allows for luck to be a much more consistent factor in deciding match outcomes as opposed to skill.

Yep, I couldn't watch....just ridiculous cringeworthy how this team almost lost to a FULL ECO, and then followed that up losing to the most cocky player from Australia, "liazz". Worst case scenario at 11-4 would have been a pistol loss, leading to 11-7 (a 4 round gap) now, it is 10-8 (only a 2 round gap)... Look how 1 round can lead to giving the other team 2 extra free rounds... another bullshit part of CS lmao.

I say if they win the following round, they almost surely close it out on overpass. edit: Scratch that, aussies aren't forcing... okay so they need to win the round flawlessly with 4 or 5 alive to build up economy and win the following gun round the essentially secure it.

This might just be a 16-14 type of game. Order will have a strong ct side but I feel like the fragging power on MVP is slightly higher, and they seem confident on LAN. A lot the Order players are whiffing and having trouble controlling the spray.

There it is, I think I even wrote earlier that this was looking like a 16-14 type of game, luckily MVP managed to grab the win. They've shown that they have more individual skill on the squad across these 2 maps, mirage is one of their best maps and I do think this is going 2-1 MVP, but it's a 5050 I suppose.

2018-06-07 06:18
Yeah Order should thank CZ's for being broken ass shit, the only reason they didn't get 13-2'd was the fact that they won a CZ rush, lol. And their ct pistol was incredibly lucky, just running around like headless chickens and somehow getting a flank on every T. But sure, MVP had a poor t side, just as bad as Order had. The difference? MVP didn't win any CZ rounds. The way they took banana just wasn't working. All they had to do really was to push it as a 5 man unit as Hatz hit nothing on that ct side. Also Xign not getting anything done was a deciding factor, he usually is a big factor on MVP's T side. Don't know what to expect on Overpass, Order ain't some really good team on it, we saw what happened on LAN when they faced a decent team, but MVP hasn't really done anything on that map either so I guess it's a coinflip, might favor Order slightly but meh, really no reason to.

So did I? I never said you were wrong. I'm just saying your posts are pseudo-intellectual and biased, and you aren't smart enough to do this as a full time job (which appears to he the amount of effort you put into it). Say in school kiddo And using one match to substantiate yourself is utter retardation

1.45 surely is

2018-06-07 07:59
HOW DO YOU LOSE THAT MVP? That would've lead to a huge CT side lead... COME ON. Xign actually just killed the guy playing on the bomb site, his own teammate... How is that possible? Sure, the 1 v 1 should've been an easy win, there was no reason to just commit to the duel there, just play the time, could've even played much further back.

That basically fucked their entire CT side lmfao. They would've been up 4-1 after resetting ORDER. Now ORDER already have 3 rounds.

Yeah even getting 7 or 8 rounds will be difficult here. They would've had a massive ct side like on the 2 previous maps had they just won that. I have no idea how Xign manages to teamkill there, he must've gotten the communication where his teammate is and where the opponents is? Solo should've won the 1 v 1 but it should never come down to that after they had that double stack on B site.
2018-06-07 08:17
And the thing is, Xign is the one carrying early on here, and he's the one making that big mistake. Can't blame him for this poor start but it's unfortunate I suppose...

2018-06-07 08:13
this fking shit termi always camp in A site corner and orders never check point
2018-06-07 08:21
If Order wasn't that lucky and won a 1 v 3 where Xign teamkills, they would most likely be down something like 8-3 at the moment. That's such a bullshit round to lose for MVP and it might just cost them the whole tournament.
2018-06-07 08:23
Round starts Alistair gets two kills round lost
2018-06-07 08:25
The casters are talking about order ''outclassing'' MVP, when it really only came down to a ridicules 1 v 3 and then constant reset of the ct economy.

Dude, this is a pretty intense game.... now MVP just have to win against this forcebuy to secure 14-10... I am not sure why ORDER chose not to save? They were pretty methodical before on overpass about saving... I guess it's a combination of being pissed off, and trying something desperate. Let us hope.

I mean they had that 5 v 3 chance versus the CZ's. Luckily they reset them in the following round. If they win this round, that should be game.

2018-06-07 08:39
Just when MVP are going to close out the game, they lose a 5 v 3 versus an eco. PLANT SAFELY DAMNIT, there was obviously a gap in that smoke. Now they just reset Order again and should be able to win out from here, but they can afford to lose those rounds to the CZ's.

Not much what so ever, around 300 euros on this specific one. Already won a lot today so this was just a boost. Edit: Just cashed out a few days ago and started over with a lower amount, so 300 in a parlay is good enough to start with.
