this is actually going to be quite close in my opinion. Liquid do have a 75% win rate on Vertigo, and Renegades have played once on Vertigo where they lost 16-14 to Vitality. However, Liquid's results on Vertigo include wins against Astralis, HellRaisers, Spirit, NRG and Spacestation twice and losses to Luminosity and MIBR. Renegades won both pistol rounds in their match against Vitality, Liquid have a 56.2% pistol round win rate on this map. What plays in favour of Liquid is the fact they win 75% of rounds in which they get the first frag, with Renegades only able to convert 66.7%. Something to consider in these stats are the opposition both teams have been playing against, with Renegades having played against the in-form Vitality, and Liquid have played against weaker teams like HellRaisers, Spirit, Spacestation and Luminosity.

#17 Yes, but, it's BLAST, so it's a pointless match, and Liquid is probably going to use this as a scrim. So your point on it being close is probably right.

renegades will win this. because its the last game in the group stage and liquid is already going to be in the finals by this game. i guess they just wanted to try vertigo in their last one.

This match doesn't matter because of how garbage BLAST's format is, so they're probably using this as a practice session.
