If you look at millions of cs go players around the world and even top 50 having had something to say against the very elite, your words may be a little harsh. If you only look at who may win the next couple of Majors ... yeah, okay, fine. But "awful form" may be too simplistic. New team mates, new systems, new ideas brought on the table ... Old connections or friendships breaking up. Looking forward to the new season!

Not sure if you can determine "form" after only the first/one match in the new season, considering what I mentioned above as well as TWO overtimes in a Bo3. Everybody likes to win of course, but this tournament may not be the highest of priorities in anybody's calendar.

Yeah ... Top 500 players of the world out of MILLIONS of cs go players all over the world are "trash" ... according to "hltv experts" like you. (Guys like you don't appear to be THINKING about the game. Either your English is poor, or you aren't able to express any nuances: Either "YOU WIN EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME or there's no reason why you are here!") Your "zero" OR "one" kind of "thinking" may hopefully develop over the coming years ... 😉👍

i love the way you are trying to deny the obvious truth astralis wont achieve anything in t1 anymore, make peace with it :P no amount of deep thinking will change that, but i like your spirit lmao

The "lmao" tells me everything about you. That you call top8 in the world "trash", reveals your selfesteem: You may NEVER achieve top8 in ANY endeavor in life. Maybe you should reconsider your account-name ... 😁

Maybe you should realize we never compare pros to ourselves rather we compare pros to other pros and if you do that... Astralis are in terrible form

Yeah ... Not being able to win every game everytime equals "terrible", right? You see top30 on the ranking list in here, which is more or less top150 players in the world out of MILLIONS. Being in the top third of THAT list is absolutely "terrible", right? The "zero" or "one" kind of thinking is for robots and computers. PLEEEZ step it up a bit: You are "Homo Sapiens"! The "thinking" or "knowing" man ... (If you compare this lineup of Astralis 2.0 with 1.0, you should try to leave the past where it belongs. We might never see a team like that ever again.)

Astralis are 9-11 in their last 20, AKA the games that contribute to "form" 43.5% winrate in the last 3 months The next closest in the Top 10 is NiP at 47.1%, another team being hounded for terrible form I'm not comparing this lineup to previous lineups, I'm saying in the current game of CS, 2022, Astralis only got to 3rd in their best showing while facing NiP with es3tag's first tournament, FaZe in the midst of their 20% winrate slump, and Heroic who were getting dogged on that tournament Even against Tier 2 opposition the team looks uninspiring. With k0nfig and blameF being put as the hard carries, fundamentals don't work as consistently and when you have an igl that is based around fundamentals, it will look out of touch

The games Astralis have played in this lineup: Beat NiP Lost vs Dead Vita Beat FaZe Beat Heroic Lost vs Dead Vita Lost vs NiP Beat MOUZ Lost vs Dead Liquid Lost vs Dead Vita Beat NiP Lost vs Dead Liquid Lost vs K23 Beat Fnatic Lost vs Entropiq Oooh wow some wins vs NiP and then a few good games in there while losing to teams that Astralis should not have been losing to, my bad they're so good compared to other top teams that win consistently

You obviously didn't get my point. "Terrible" is too strong a word for a top 10 team, but it will for sure take a while before we see them compete for top1. The "dead" Liquid or Vitality were also quite a bit better drilled compared to a fairly new team, trying to find their footing with 4 seasoned pro's and a rookie, a new coach, the AWP situation, no less than TWO fragging IGL's ... as well as Bubskij on the bench. A LOT to think about! They may not have prioritized this tournament, and it will take a lotta work to reach the full potential of this team. But okay. I may be screaming against the wind here. Hltv experts like you just goes: "A new team is not winning everything = terrible trash" ... just like a primitive binary-based either/or robot. As you wish.

This is different than a "new team" though, they've already played 3 tournaments and none of them showed any sign of great potential.

No ... No hope whatsoever. They are complete trash and should just disband, give up the whole thing, close Astralis HQ, tear down the building and forget any of this ever happened ... I get it.
