GamerLegion has historically always been a solid tier 2 team, but they have never achieved anything spectacular. They got into the last RMR but didn't do well. After that, it kinda fell off, and they decided to make roster changes. Their new roster looks like a mix, but there have been some rumors about the new GamerLegion roster, so probably they practiced for some time. The team looks solid on paper - great individual skill and a lot of experience.
Anonymo is literally the same story. Out of nowhere, they made it into the Antwerp RMR and had some solid performances. However, they changed their AWPer, and it quickly fell apart. They have been struggling last months against some weaker teams. Somebody could think they would fix the mistakes during the break and come strongly into this new season. It's quite the opposite. In the earlier matches and another qualifier, they struggled against bad teams.
Anonymo is not in great form, and this GamerLegion roster looks really stacked up and on fire. The BO1 factor doesn't hurt GL - rather plays into their hands as they can play on a comfortable map.
