he gets more money plus has a chance to be promoted to the main roster so thats a big upgrade in my book
2022-09-18 08:44
Imagine criticizing someone for being ambitious and even though he's not found any success yet he's backed by a great org making good money at 16 years old, meaning he still has A LOT of years to improve and he's already good for a T2 team
2022-09-18 16:10
Mouz provide better facilities and better coaching for player development
2022-09-18 16:59
I don't think u know how player development works. If he stayed in conquer he would've been guaranteed to stay in the dregs of Finnish CS. Mouz academy team on the other hand is known for building up solid tier 2/1 players and providing high quality facilities in order to sell to a decent team at a solid price. Jimpphat has a very bright future, exacerbated by his signing to mouz nxt

it wasn't, their roster were all well-established tier 3 players, not a product of good scouting, it was basically mouz 2.0, not an academy roster

JDC played for Unicorns of Love before MOUZ NXT, xertion played for mix team "OompaLoompa". Those aren't exactly well known t3 teams. The poles played for Izako Boars and torzsi in Budapest Five, once again not that insane t3 teams but you have to give credit to scouting these players.

Unicorns of Love, Budapest Five and Izako Boars constantly played HLTV matches, they were all top 70 teams and had great showing on the tier 3 scene, unless you consider teams like Sprout an average tier 3 squad. Every one of them, JDC, torzsi, siuhy and szejn, was a hard carry on their teams, providing much more impact than their teammates, and you could notice it just by looking at their stats at least, let alone game sense. I remember people saying, "BIG JDC" or "Sprout JDC" way before he got onto MOUZ NXT. xertioN is the only guy that wasn't so well-known, but I knew him from KPI where he played with ztr, but yeah, let's give MOUZ a credit for him. Now look at NAVI who got B1T out of nowhere and developed him into a world class player, Aunkere and headtr1ck could also play for a top 30 team. s1ren from Spirit, regali from fnatic, even Astralis found Zyphon somehow. Banjo, nipl, zont1x, donk, ArtFr0st, maxster, nilo, Sapec were all literal nonamers before joining the academies, some of them didn't even have a HLTV page, now they're showing great results, this is what good scouting stands for. MOUZ just signed a bunch of stars from tier 3 teams, no wonder they won like 4 or 5 WePlay's in a row, that's a whole different level.

People clowning on this new mouz nxt roster, but I actually think it could be good. Nexius looked pretty decent when ec brugge went all Belgian, but that team in itself is a mess, always changing players so didn’t really get time to settle down Zyyx was VERY good in fragadelphia qualifiers, well above the rest of his team Jimpphat is obvs jimpphat Q-Q was decent on LLL before that core went off to Genk Chr1zN played well on Tricked and I think I said somewhere before that I’d like an academy team to pick him up. Only issue is is that he is also an awper like zyyx so there might be some role clashes there but we will see. Nonetheless, easy for UKCS and goat Adam9130

This new mouz nxt isn't even that bad, they beat itb on esea a few days ago, all of the players look promising (they didn't even play with an awper when they played all there esea matches and still won against itb and nemiga) Chr1zn's igling is looking good, just needs to work on retakes but you can't expect much more from a new 16 year old igl Q-Q is looking good as a support/anchor his fragging Is good and has huge multikill potential Jimi is playing like he did in the last nxt Never heard of zyyx before but if mouz were beating teams with there coach as an awp then this will be a huge improvement Nexius was a beast on there esea games, his aim is amazing and he looks like he's going to be a super star

Zyyx was awping on a team called 7am. Yeah they got 16-0d on nuke (after 16-0ing limitless) but if you watch his vertigo against EG.PA (who actually went on to win the tournament entirely), it was mental (he got one of the best 1v4s this year so far on said map). People are probably looking at the fact that they’re trying to make it an academy team rather than getting 4 experienced youngsters and an fpl star in instead, and saying it’s a worse team w/o them even playing a game yet

Mouz NXT has played quite well considering the nonamers this team has. As said above, they won ITB just a few days ago. They also won BIG academy on friday. They could easily take at least one map here, if not two.
