| NgeLTook them 3 months to manually settle a bet I won. Support is just useless. Sometimes bets won't place and are stuck in loading. Markets look open but are closed. Incorrect error messages. Low max bets on opening odds. Cringe esports marketing. Leveling system that serves only one purpose - to make silly people lose more money by forcing bets. Rivalry 'Academy' attempting to teach people how to lose money faster. They've fixed a lot of things but it wasn't ready for an AU launch last year. No promotions from where I'm from but I'm more concerned about the functionality.

meowingtonIt is pretty rare for the website to be in its "glitchy state" and if there are problems the only frustrating thing is that the bet won't go through. Never had a situation where I made a bet that was not expected.
Their promotions are very easy to unlock and are a true representation of money (no bet credit bullshit). Free $500 starting account offer and recently got another $100 free for these IEM games.
Nobody does their leveling system (and if you do you obviously deserve to lose money) and Rivalry is one of the rare sites that allow repeated bets. Bet365 restricted me to $1 bets. Betano restricted me within a month where I cant even bet more than $30 on CCT games. Don't think Unibet has restricted me but just has horrible max bet sizes.
I've had by far more bullshit admin decisions done by sportsinteraction and coolbet but i still use them xd

| NgeLAny betting site will restrict you for winning too much. You probably haven't reached the threshold on Rivalry yet and I doubt that its as high as Bet365. If you get restricted within a month its because you won too much money in a short span of time and the algorithm goes off early. Rivalry is the buggiest website I've used out of 25 bookies I've used. Maybe the Canadian version of the site is different. I don't know. Being bet restricted is a pretty normal thing and its the only way modern bookies afford promotions.

meowingtonSome sites are greedier than others. I've heard pinnacle doesn't restrict and honestly rivalry looks like they use copy the pinnacle system. The odd changes are very similar to when pinnacle updates them and the repeated bets make me believe that they are not a softbook like betano/bet365

| NgeLRivalry updates their odds more often so yeah there's less risk for them and they only accept like up to 150-200 for opening odds until they can adjust to the true odds. I'm not sure if they have a winning limit but if they don't I'm surprised they don't brag about it.

meowingtonI honestly don't know what happened that game but I don't think they do site wide voided games and it depends on the situation. I could be mixing up sportsbook but I remember there was a time where the team I bet on was late so had a map disadvantage but won series anyways so I got the win.
There also was a time where it was an esea game (and theres like no info on esea games) and the match did not explicitly say that there was +1 map advantage and I lost but they voided the bet.
Sportsinteraction is by far the worst site to handle outcomes in my experience

| NgeLBookies are more likely to void a match if it saves them money. So if 90% of the bet distribution is on the favorite and the favorite wins you're more likely to get a stake on an underdog back.
In your case with the ESEA match they maybe set match score odds without the assumption of a map advantage. The stake refund most likely depends upon someone complaining to support or maybe an unusually large stake size by many bettors might grab some attention. I always complain but I doubt even half of people do.
Some shady bookies you complain to and they only void the bet for your account instead of for everyone.
In Australia, you're not allowed to live bet without a phone-in. So you can literally place a bet at pre-match odds if they don't close to market and if you lose, you can complain and tell them they are breaking the law. They'll refund your stake. I've learnt to be scummy like that.
