TMVG win Assembly Winter 2013

TOOMUCHVIDEOGAMES has won Assembly Winter 2013 after a commanding 2-0 (16-7 de_mirage_csgo, 16-12 de_nuke_se) victory over from roihuvuori h00ds in the grand final.

After suffering disappointing 0-2 defeats in their semi-finals, partyastronauts and Paranoia faced off again each other in the third place decider to determine who would go home with some pride and 500€ in cash.

The Norwegian side fell short on the opening map de_inferno_se 13-16, but rallied back to win the next two, scoring a 16-14 win on de_train_se and clinching the series by a score of 16-10 on de_mirage_csgo.

Grand final saw all four Curse members who were playing for teams at Assembly face off against each other, with the majority of three of them centered around Joona "natu" Leppänen ultimately defeating Timo "reflex" Rintala's from roihuvuori h00ds.

Aleksi "allu" Jalli's TMVG secured an easy 16-7 win on de_mirage_csgo to start off the series, and quickly finished their opponents off on the second map, de_nuke_se, with a 16-12 result to win Assembly Winter 2013.

Assembly Winter 2013 final standings:

1. Finland TOOMUCHVIDEOGAMES - 1,500€
2. Finland from roihuvuori h00ds - 1,000€
3. Norway partyastronauts - 500€
4. Finland Paranoia eSports

With Curse's Timi "aslak" Verkkoperä not at Assembly and captain Leppänen's tweet suggesting he is no longer with the team, it will be interesting to see how if these results matter in Curse's recruiting strategy in the coming weeks.

gg :) Too bad partyastronauts couldn't secure 1st/2nd ;)
