ESEA confirms new global season

ESEA has formally announced that season 14 will feature global divisions in CS:GO.

The biggest change that was introduced by season 13 was the fact that, for the first time, it threw together from North America and from Europe in a global Invite division, whose LAN finals will take place from April 19th to 21st in Dallas.

It has now been confirmed that season 14, which will formally begin on May 12th, will continue to bet on CS:GO as the game will continue to feature its own global Invite division.

Two major changes from season 13 to 14 are the creation of a Latin American CS:GO Open division and the addition of an European Intermediate division, which will stand between the Invite and the Open divisions.

The overall prize purse for the new season has been increased from $83,210 to $90,000, though it is unclear whether there will be more money involved in the CS:GO tournament.

Meanwhile, ESEA has announced that it has decided to put an end to the North American 1.6 invite division, a decision which will allow some of the other games to hand out bigger cash prizes.

Registration for season 14 is now open and will continue like that through to May 6th. Team move ups and move downs and the complete breakown of the prize pool will be released shortly.

They force your cl_interp to 0.03 instead of 0.007, so you should manually fix that =)
