ESEA Season 14 registration open

April 24th, 2013 19:27

Registration for ESEA Season 14, which will once again feature a global finals event for CS:GO, is now open. It will feature a total of over $90,000 in prizes spread over various games.

Season 13 saw $83,210 being given out in CS, CS:S, CS:GO, TF2 and LoL, while Season 14 will feature over $90,000 in the same list of games, although without an Invite division for CS 1.6.

The upcoming season will feature a Intermediate division in Europe, which will become the new division between Open and Invite as more and more teams start competing in ESEA.

The Invite division, as the name suggests, works through invitations with one team being determined through a fan vote. Team list and the vote will be published prior to registration closing.

We planned on running a 1.6 league last season, after roughly 20 days of registration we had 4 or so teams that had registered. ESEA is prepared to support the older version of the games but only if the community expressed some serious interest.
