The Last Resort have reaffirmed their commitment to bet on homegrown talented by picking up a UK-based CS:GO squad.
TLR had already shown that they have high hopes for CS:GO when they supported a mix team for Epic LAN TEN, back in February.
With players like Henry "HenryG" Greer and Ollie "crazycat" Netherton, this TLR.mix gave a good account of themselves and finished in 5th-6th place in the tournament, which was won by fish123.
From that mix team, only Netherton and Ben "BeNKoFK" Pratt made the move to the new TLR team, who also boast Alex "AlesKi" Way, a former member of Dignitas' 1.6 squad, and ex-Reason Gaming player Jon "raz" Baker.
Completing the team will be Mark "Shade" Smith, who made headlines in November when he joined mTw's roster for ESEA Open.
"We are all pleased to be playing CS again," Way told TLR's website. "I think this team has potential to be good based on the fact we have all been friends for ages.
"We are all a bit rusty still but I think in a few months we can beat some good teams and bring home some cheese.
"TLR has been fairly unlucky with lineups in the past in CS, however I hope we can be a long term project for TLR that can bring some stability to the name."
TLR's CS:GO division consists of the following players:
Ollie "crazycat" Netherton
Ben "BeNKoFK" Pratt
Alex "AlesKi" Way
Jon "raz" Baker
Mark "Shade" Smith
