ALTERNATE snare tiziaN
Team ALTERNATE have announced that they have completed their CS:GO team with the addition of Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch from dotpiXels.
The German team had been reduced to a four-man roster earlier in the day after Manuel "mnL" Oberlein was given his marching orders, a decision that surprised the player.
Reports in the country immediately linked ALTERNATE with Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch, who helped dotpiXels to a runners-up finish at EPS Spring 2013 earlier in the month.
ALTERNATE have now officially confirmed the move, while lamenting Oberlein's criticism targeted at the organisation.
"In tiziaN we have found a young and hungry player, who is determined to prove himself," team manager Christian "brand" Riegler said.
"Together with crisby, he showed in his first offline event that we can expect big things from him. We did not make this decision lightly, but we came to the conclusion that this was the best solution for the team.
"I would like to briefly comment on the statement made yesterday [by mnL]. Usually, we see no reason to do so, but there are things that we need to put right.
"At the EPS finals, we had already addressed this issue, but we decided to only bring in crisby. But in the last few weeks, it was shown that this team could no longer perform, so we told Manuel yesterday about our decision.
"Everyone deals with a disappointing news their own way, but to go over to a journalist and say a couple of frustrating things is certainly not one of the most elegant things to do."
Feldbusch made his debut for ALTERNATE in this week's RaidCall EMS One Cup, in which his team were eliminated in the second round, courtesy of a 16-10 defeat to n!faculty.
These changes leave the German team with the following lineup:
ALTERNATE currently have:
Felix "fel1x" Zech
Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
Manuel "SolEk" Zeindler
Christian "crisby" Schmitt
Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch
Christian "Igor" Meyer (Backup)
