SIXER returns in WARMAKER
Christophe "SIXER" Xia, without a doubt one of France's most prolific 1.6 players, has decided to venture into CS:GO with a new team called WARMAKER.
The French player earned a reputation as one of his country's top talents after playing consistently well for teams like Millenium and Electronic Sahara throughout his career.
The last big event that Xia attended was the TECHLABS Cups in February 2012, where eSahara finished at the bottom of their group following defeats to KerchNET, Moscow Five and Anexis.
Xia and his teammates later joined Absolute Legends, but the lack of 1.6 tournaments at the time and the retirement of Mickaël "mSx" Cassisi certainly took their toll on the team, who would not attend a single international event under the new organisation.
SIXER to try his luck in CS:GO
In the last few weeks, Xia had been seen playing CS:GO for the first time with other French top players, sparking rumours that he was planning on giving the game a try.
It has now been confirmed that Xia has decided to link up with the former 3DMAX squad, who were earlier in the week released by the French organisation, linking up with former 1.6 rival Michel "mshz" Nguyen.
"After parting ways with 3DMAX, we would like to thank WARMAKER for their trust and for letting us participate in the Coupe de France in the best possible conditions," Nguyen said.
"We hope to make a good impression. We would like to thank our sponsors, MYRIAPULSE and CYBERPC."
WARMAKER's lineup consists of the following players:
Michel "mshz" Nguyen
Robin "GMX" Stahmer
Kévin "L0rdZz" Pascal
Joey "fxy0" Schlosser
Christophe "SIXER" Xia
Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavini (coach)
