GuardiaN in TTT for ESWC qualifier

Former 3DMAX and Virtus.pro member Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács has put together a new team called TOPTOPTOP (TTT) for the upcoming European ESWC qualifiers.

The Slovakian ace has been somewhat inactive since the shocking disbandment of Virtus.pro's division last month as Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov and Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow moved to Astana Dragons.

Last week, Kovács made an attempt at creating a new international team alongside Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Ricardo "fox" Pacheco, but the project was short lived and the players went their separate ways after their first event together, the MSI Beat It qualifier #2.

The former Virtus.pro AWPer has now decided to go local and created a new team with a view to participating in the upcoming European ESWC qualifiers, hosted by ESEA.

GuardiaN returns to a Czech/Slovakian project

As usual, he has opted to bet on Czech/Slovakian talent: joining him are compatriots Peter "uno" Lipowski and Martin "STYKO" Styk, and Czech duo David "KAPARZO" Lacina and Karel "sneix" pavlica.

TOPTOPTOP will play the ESWC qualifiers with:

Slovakia Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács
Slovakia Peter "uno" Lipowski
Slovakia Martin "STYKO" Styk
Czech Republic David "KAPARZO" Lacina
Czech Republic Karel "sneix" pavlica

they're mostly just having fun, i guess. the MSI team was a mix, this ESWC team is likely an experiment. if they do well, they'll probably stick together, but I don't think they're taking it too seriously, which imo is the right way to do it.

Nice to see so many teams being formed with all kind of players. However I doubt this team will grow old. Goodluck non the less.
2013-08-28 15:50
Good luck, but frankly its a huge step down for GuardiaN.
2013-08-28 15:50
It's good to play with people from your country and they have a good lineup but I think that GuardiaN should brought 1 or 2 star players, myb from russia or smth.
2013-08-28 15:51
Interesting line up :D
2013-08-28 15:53
need more .PhP :{
2013-08-28 15:59
So no more ANBU? It lasted for like, uhm, a week? And yet there is another useless team, that will attend 2 events, fail to impress anyone, disband, and gather again under different name (maybe with a different player), only to repeat the whole circle. What a joke. And there are still people who take them seriously. They probably have memory of a gold fish.

and what exactly is wrong with trying different rosters and see which performs better ? And on what better grounds to try it than qualifications and tournaments ? It's a win win situation for everyone involved in team. Should Guardian just let qualifications pass by him, not trying to win, just because current roster / players in tryout hasn't played for a year together ? Yes. That sounds like Guardian. Giving up without fight. /sarcasm Good luck guys, hopefully it will work out and stick together!
2013-08-28 16:29
#117 GL anyway! Maybe they will stick together until Christmas :) That would be a real win for any aspiring top team from CZ/SVK.
2013-08-29 07:59
2013-08-28 16:31
Where is your impressive team then
2013-08-28 16:48
can you please tell me whats wrong with that? they are trying to find a suitable lineup and if they succeed that would be perfect with no language barrier. its a really tough scene now there is a mix of 1.6+css players combined together and you don't know if they can work together.
2013-08-28 18:12
Oh I totally forgot about the last success of CZ/SVK teams. That was... well... When was it exactly, when any of CZ/SVK team "succeeded" on European scene in any sense? Not in this decade. And as history suggests, they will quietly disband within a month or two anyway. So they can try something new. Who cares? :)
2013-08-29 07:57
See, there was no success, they're trying to start again with different roster. Is anything wrong in it? No. You don't care? Stop writing then.
2013-08-29 08:28
Funny thing is, that there are like 7-8 players circulating in their different rosters for past months/year. And they still fail to succeed on any other than local level. In a sense, it is amusing. But in a deeper, more meaningful way, it must be really depressing to try so bad with no outcome. But, as usual, I don't care, feel free to rage a bit more, I will enjoy seeing you going nuts over such a petty subject :)
2013-08-29 11:35
I guess you know what combinatorics mean.
2013-08-29 17:29
go play for some decent team, they're at least trying, you're only crying.
2013-08-28 18:48
Do you really understood my comment as a crying? If so, you have some serious issues with understanding of a written text. Fact is, I couldn't care less.
2013-08-29 07:49
it was a mix you scum, mostly your comments are full of hate/criticism seems logical that you're from japan and your country did more in CSGO than slovakia (irony)
2013-08-29 14:29
Mostly my comments express my opinion and you are not in any way forced to reply to them, neither to agree with them. Also, you haven't even seen most of my comments, as I am present here from roughly 2006/2007, when you were almost 10 years old and didn't even know how to turn your PC on. So son, if you want to go on, you gotta put on your big boy pants and bring out your A game, because this ain't going to cut it. Also, it seems logical that you, from 2nd world country of Slovakia, Košice (worlds famous spot thanks to huge supply of gypsies), are calling me a scum :) Can you see the irony here, kitten? Can you?
2013-08-29 15:22
yeah, you know very well that I didn't know how to turn on PC when I was 10.. pathetic. and what about gypsies? I don't care about them, I'm not racist, but it's a shame that we have the biggest supply of the gypsies (maybe biggest in Slovakia), and only solution is evict them (but firstly our "highly intelligent politicians" must do something. They even don't care about it, they're just closing their eyes about this problem - but reality is elsewhere, especially eastern Slovakians will tell you smth about that) anyways, sorry for insulting, but that's just my opinion about you
2013-08-29 15:40
I of course have no idea what you were capable of during your childhood. but you also have no idea how most of my comments are written, since you didn't read that much of them. That's the problem with generalizing stuff. At some point in the future people will just get angry and take care of the problems with lazy ass government and gypsies themselves. No biggie, it's bound to happen. And apology accepted :)

2013-08-28 23:05
Maybe now he doesn't have a choice :P
2013-08-28 23:12
If anything I'm just really happy to see Guardian playing again, I'm really looking forward to see him participating in CS:GO more!
2013-08-28 17:09
Most of users underestimate ex. nEophyte for various absurd mindsets of a team mixture with either navi or polacks. Get it out of there. These guys are both skilled and talented and has sick aim which we saw on prague challenge when they made it to semi final by beating embrace to name one team.. without guardian that is.
