After a huge battle, NiP have defeated Copenhagen Wolves in the final of RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Cup #1 with a 2-1 score (14-16 on de_dust2_se, 26-22 on de_mirage_ce and 16-6 on de_inferno_se).

Four teams were left for the second day of the opening cup in ESL's RaiCall EMS One Fall season, and the action started earlier today with NiP defeating fnatic on de_train_se 16-7 without much resistance.

The other semi-final produced a minor surprise, as VeryGames fell to Copenhagen Wolves 16-14 on de_mirage_ce after a strong first half by the Danes.

GeT_RiGhT was the top fragger of the final

Wolves continued their good play by defeating NiP on the first map de_dust2_se with the same score, but were unable to close out the second map de_mirage_ce despite a 10-5 first half CT-side lead.

It took two overtimes for the Ninjas to get going and finally overcome their opponents, as they sent the match into map three after a 26-22 victory.

The momentum was now on their side, and Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen's squad was unable to put up the needed fight on de_inferno_se, which saw NiP run out as winners 16-6.

Doubt VG would have taken it. Possibly, but they're really not that good online in comparison to the other top teams. CPH was playing really well today. If shoxie played worse for whatever reason VG would have lost their maps against CPH - he carried them hard.

Good game from CPH Wolves. Friis proved his haters wrong. But f0rest and GTR are just beasts. By far the best players in GO.

2013-09-05 01:38
i call that being smart lol... well if u think is that easy just create a team, u do like gtr and u win every game like nip.. oh wait i haven't heard of u
2013-09-05 01:39
It's not about smart. That finale you could clearly see two different changes. When gtr was like 3.8 and second half when Nip started winning and he fragging. Fan boys would say they won because of him but actually he fragged because they won. His playstyle only works when other team mates are doing their job in the other BS/places so he can get the other guys rotating, only when his team was able to do this he was able to frag. There was many rounds that he would have 3kills and not kill a single one looking at him. Ofc he is smart but without the others he would never do it, as we could clearly see in the begining of the match :)

It's called backup, you know what that means? He just outsmarted his opponents and killed them from behind, simple.
2013-09-05 01:54
Dude, he's a lurker type, and accordingly, most of the time has the lurker role. That's what he does, and I think no one in CS:GO is better at that than him right now. Teams need lurkers. It's expected that skilled lurkers are top fragging often.
2013-09-05 02:35
Well, his position is backup on the team. Its what does and how he plays best.
2013-09-05 03:29
If it's a tactic what is perfect for a player and it's working almost everytime, why not use it? because it's "camping" LAEl
2013-09-05 14:57

He played realy well on dust2, he was the top fragger untill the end of the first half. It's a shame that gtr and f0rest didn't play at their max level on that map.

Yet another game where NiP come back from the edge of defeat. Same seems to happen 90% of time when a team gets 14-15 rounds vs them. CPH losing first OT, I knew then NiP would win that map and next. Happens always like that.
2013-09-05 02:39
NiP is the strongest team when it comes to dealing with pressure

why changing the cw line up ? they are doing very good now
2013-09-05 10:15
i know they are doing very good, but.. ESC , NaVi , VirtusPro was doing very well too but they change lu "in paper" that lu seems stronger then current lu

ESC and Na'Vi didn't do that well my friend.
2013-09-05 10:42
that well you mean to win a tournament? or what? they won some maps from NiP
2013-09-05 10:48
To me, the best DK line up would be : - dupreeh - device - xyp9x - pimp - fetish so well just replace friis by pimp and that would be awesome, friis actually isn't as good as his teammates, even tho he did pretty good yesterday

wantz is an onliner (just look how bad he played at the last lan event with CPH) and after the childish behavior of cajunb I wouldn't take this guy back. coloN instead of fetish sounds good, but fetish is IGL, so someone else would have to play the IGL role (Friis has some experience with that).
2013-09-05 12:15
stfu wantz isn't onliner, one of the best(if not the best) in source.
2013-09-05 12:42
you got a point for IGL BUT..... wantz is one of the best, AND ofc he is not onliner
