TyLoo replace coL at MSI Beat it

Following the recent announcement by compLexity Gaming about pulling out from the MSI Beat it! finals in Beijing, it has been announced that TyLoo will be replacing them.

coL secured their spot with a win against Homeless in the NA qualifier, but earlier this week they issued a statement saying they won't be able to make the trip.

The reason behind their decision were visa and passport problems, after which the team decided to invest their time in an extended bootcamp for Dreamhack Winter.

KingZ & co. will be representing China at the first big CS:GO event in Asia after all

On the other hand, TyLoo had their chance for a direct placement to the tournament, but they fell short at the hands of Nface and H5 Gaming in the Chinese qualifier.

Nevertheless, as the 3rd best placed team in China and with a short deadline for finding a replacement for the North American team, they were invited to participated in the tournament.

TyLoo's lineup:

China Likan "KingZ" Luo
China Ke "Mo" Lui
China Huang "Rita" Biaohong
China Huang "HZ" Zhen
China Hui "QHZ" Wu

Here is the full list of teams that will be in action in Beijing this weekend:

 Vox Eminor  fnatic  TyLoo  inchk1ng
 SK Gaming
 Nface  Falood Jackson  SEA Qualifiers
 VeryGames  H5 Gaming
 SEA Qualifiers  SEA Qualifiers

Prize distribution for MSI Beat it! 2013 Global Finals:

1. $10,000 + 5x MSI GE70 laptop
2. $7,000
3. $5,000

The action starts on November, 22nd with SEA Regional Qualifiers that will determine the last three attendees, while the main tournament will be starting a day later.

Would love to see some asian surprises. I don't know what to expect at all, I haven't watch any of their matches from in 1.6 :/ I just wanted to remind everyone that we should support events that are Global. I could have tried to bash coL, because they gave their spot up. Now we have no north american teams. This was the best chance so far to prove something, and we already lost a part of it. Luckily we might see coL well prepared at DHW.

VeryGames is going to fucking slay everyone. I will be surprised if they drop a map, and if they do it will be to fnatic because Pronax is a kickass IGL.
2013-11-20 05:34
That's sweet, good luck tyloo.
2013-11-20 05:35
Where're Savage,xf and tb ? They don't play cs:go ?
2013-11-20 05:38
nop,they're only playing cs:o in New4.
2013-11-20 06:17
wow, cs:o is still populare in China?
2013-11-20 11:06
Yep(comparing to 1.6 and GO),it has a good agent in China which has done quite a lot promotion work.
2013-11-20 12:14
nice, i miss 1.6 (((
2013-11-20 13:21
xf retired my bad
2013-11-20 07:32
VG will achieve the last gold medal in it's history here.
2013-11-20 05:54
GL,Tyloo. But I doubt they will practise for the event seriously since their main task is to win all the csonline events. Plus in China few care about GO cuz no promotion ,no attention,no money ,no honey. The most of CS community still stick with 1.6 and online.Hopefully the event can change the situation in a good way.
2013-11-20 06:27

2013-11-20 08:41
Interesting. Maybe if they, or one of the other Asian teams, do some damage here then CS:GO can grow in Asia. We can only hope...
2013-11-20 08:27
nice :>
2013-11-20 08:48
It's shame, but there is no getting away from the fact this tourney will be grade B.
2013-11-20 09:31
too easy for vg
2013-11-20 10:19
the chinese have more chances in csgo as the complex strats are not that much better than the simpler ones. they'd still need savage, tb, xf tho.
2013-11-20 11:06

2013-11-20 11:07

2013-11-20 12:50
The rest of the money was used for flights and hotels for all the teams
2013-11-20 12:54

2013-11-20 22:02
MSI ge70 laptops are kinda shitty because of Nvidia Optimus technology that won't let you output 120hz to a monitor. I'm sure that who will take them will sell them.
2013-11-20 22:02
öö? I had 120hz fine on this Optimus laptop, that's a bogus
2013-11-21 00:06
what's your laptop model? and which cable do you use to output 120hz ?
2013-11-22 00:06
i want to see chinese teams destroying europeans or its just gonna be another boring tournament nip vs vg...
