Reason Gaming rip SK apart
Reason Gaming have ripped SK Gaming apart, beating them 16-3 on yet another de_inferno, earning a chance to fight for a spot in the quarter-finals.
SK Gaming were on the back foot ever since the pistol round started, as they lost both that and the ecos afterwards before making a breakthrough to the match at 3-1 despite starting off as Counter-Terrorists.
The first clutch situation came in right after that and SK Gaming have failed to turn a three-versus-three afterplant to a won round, making it 5-1.
Two more two-versus-two situations were lost by SK Gaming in spite of three quick headshots by Simon "twist" Eliasson's while defending the A bombsite.
SK took the fall after changing a player only two days in advance
Reason kept taking advantage of SK's mistakes, as Marcus "Delpan" Larsson died alone numerous of times, which allowed the Danish team to attack bombsites with their defenses lowered.
In a blink of an eye, the score was at 11-1 after the Swedes getting picked off one by one, although it seemed they would eventually take a second round when they pushed banana agressively.
One player from SK was left out alone on banana though, which made it a two-versus-two again, that Reason dealt with to take the lead to 13-1 after another gunround.
A desperation deagle buy on the Swedish side worked out well in the final round of the first half, although it was too little too late, as Reason won the second pistol round before closing the game at 16-3.
