Vox Eminor have triumphed over TRIDENT to take out the seventh installment of the Sydney Gamers League, taking home $1000 in cash plus prizes.
The SGL powered by ASUS RoG and Nvidia kicked off early Saturday morning with twelve teams signed up. The competition was marred with delays with the first group not getting started till mid afternoon. In a suprise result, TRIDENT relegated group favourites Salmon to second place while cruising through a flawless group stage.
The second group saw tournament favourites Vox Eminor dispense of AVANT GARDE and SIK who were left to fight it out for second place. SIK took that match comfortably and booked their spot against TRIDENT in the semi-final, leaving Salmon to take on Vox Eminor.
