NiP and Titan round up StarSeries IX

NiP and Titan are heating up the competition, as they are the last two teams to join SLTV StarSeries IX participants' list.

With the online stage of SLTV StarSeries IX set to start on February 19th, two most successful teams of CS:GO's history, NiP and Titan, have joined the list of participants.

NiP have been to a total of three StarSeries Finals and they have become the champions of the sixth season, while the former VeryGames team only attended the seventh one, where they also came out on top.

With these two teams joining in, the participants' list looks as follows:

Courage	ACES
MYM	fnatic
Na´Vi	LDLC.com
Clan-Mystik	MayaM
NiP	Titan

That rounds it up to a total of sixteen teams battling it out for the doubled prize purse of $30,000, which will be followingly distributed among the finalists:

1. $15,000
2. $7,000
3. $5,000
4. $3,000

HLTV.org will bring you a full coverage of the online stage, which will start on February 19th, including DreamTeam.

Don't think that's the reason. As i recall they drew out of Starseries one or two seasons ago and can therefor not attend (banned for a period), Might be wrong though.

Courage, MayaM, ACES, k1ck, ALTERNATE, GamePub as well? Comments like that are dumb as hell man, they stand more chance than you and your team if you got one - it's better to cheer for these teams trying than demote them from the start. With that logic they shouldn't even try, because what's the point?

It's a group stage with 16 teams. Four out of those will make it to the finals which will be played Best of Three double elimination bracket.

It's not that crazy. Not likely, but possible. This will be their first real event after being together a couple of months. We have not seen them play anywhere close to their full potential and they have the players to be amazing.

I believe it's more interesting with the underdogs, as we give them a chance to prove to people that they are not indeed as shit as they think, and hopefully will cause some upsets. Plus saying minus, and then that you don't even care about these teams is pretty low in point of view, but whatever. It's boring to see the same teams all the time with NiP clinching the first place every tourney.

I try, because some people forget that there are lives behind those little glass screens they sit in front, sometimes for hours on end. I got banned for a week due to an A4 long post about the civil war in Syria, other Arab countries and the general situation of Muslims in Libya - some admins/people cannot treat this as a website on which people with the same shared hobby can discuss other things.
