Imaginary sign Awsomniac
Imaginary Gaming have announced that they have signed Awsomniac as their new CS:GO team.
The decision comes as a huge surprise as it was only last week that Imaginary had picked up WARMAKER, featuring the likes of Sebastien "krL" Perez and Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli, as their CS:GO team.
Imaginary have now decided to drop that team in favour of what looks to be a more promising roster, revolving around ESWC champion Jérémy "ioRek" Vuillermet.
ioRek's team sign for Imaginary
Awsomniac were recently seen in both European EMS One Katowice online qualifiers, being eliminated by Eastern Wizards in the first one and then by ESC Gaming in the second one.
"We were contacted by Imaginary and due to their seriousness, their ambitions and their resources, we did not hesitate to join them," Benjamin "drizzer" Charnet told vakarm.net.
"This win-win deal meets the expectations of both parties. We will continue to work hard for the rest of the season, in which we will attend Gamers-Assembly and take part in Gfinity and ESEA."
Imaginary's first LAN test will be Gamers Assembly, which will take place from April 19th to 21st and where the majority of France's top teams are expected to show up.
The team's lineup stands as follows:
Jérémy "ioRek" Vuillermet
Benjamin "drizzer" Charnet
Joey "fxy0" Schlosser
Robin "fisheR" Kalck
Brendan "qUAkO" Antoni
This means that the following quintet are now on the lookout for a new organisation to represent:
Sebastien "krL" Perez
Alexandre "bistouflyy" Lebozec
Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli
Michel "mshz" Nguyen
Sabry "malikinovic" Belkhiter
