H2k lose CS:GO team
H2k-Gaming and their CS:GO team have parted company, Pål "polly" Kammen has told HLTV.org.
The Norwegian side were last seen in action at Copenhagen Games, where they finished in 9th-16th place, outside the payout structure, after suffering a 0-2 defeat to dignitas in the Round of 16.
Since then, the Assembly Winter 2014 winners have remained silent, and the reason for that has just been revealed: H2k have parted ways with the team as the organisation want to focus on other games in the future.
Polly's team looking for a new orga
Meanwhile, the team have also confirmed that they have undergone one roster change as Håvard "rain" Nygaard, formerly of partyastronauts, will replace Adrian "hoyland" Johansen, who has become inactive due to his academic commitments.
"We are grateful for the support H2k gave us these last months, which allowed us to reach a new level as a team," Pål "Polly" Kammen told HLTV.org.
"This, however, does not mean the end of our team. We will be playing with a new member, rain, who has played for us a stand-in in the past on several occasions. We know what we can do and we are confident that we will continue to improve with him on board.
"We would like to thank hoyland for being a beast these last months and helping us burst onto the scene, and hopefully we can keep building on that and reach new levels these coming months."
The Norwegian team, who will go by the name ".no" for the time being, are currently on the lookout for a new organisation to represent and can be reached by e-mail at pkammen@yahoo.no.
"Our main goal since Copenhagen Games has been Dreamhack Summer, but as it stands now we won't be able to attend without support,so anyone who might be interested in helping us, for this event or (preferably) in the long run, please contact us," Kammen stated.
