ALTERNATE dismiss CS:GO team
Team ALTERNATE have parted company with their CS:GO division, Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu has confirmed.
The news comes just weeks after the German team were left with a four-man crew following Christian "Rak" Hermenau-Puhlvers' decision to become inactive to focus on his career.
It was the latest of a series of blows to the former Berzerk team, who had just come off a 3rd-4th place finish at the EPS finals in Cologne.
asmo & co lose ALTERNATE support
In recent weeks, the team had been playing with Alexander "alexRr" Frisch, formerly of MTF, as their fifth player and were hoping to stay on at ALTERNATE, but the organisation decided to give the players their marching orders.
"Alternate and the players have agreed that our paths should go in different ways," Berberoglu told HLTV.org.
"We of course want to thank the sponsors for their continuous support and time. We will return to our ESWC 2012 tag Berzerk, and continue to stick together as a team.
"We're looking forward to what the future has in store for us, and hope that we can get a good amount of offers from organizations.
"If there is an organisation out there that can offer us LAN support, please write us an e-mail to email@example.com."
Berzerk's lineup looks as follows:
Felix "fel1x" Zech
Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
Manuel "SolEk" Zeindler
Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu
Alexander "alexRr" Frisch
