Flipsid3 Tactics win ESEA IM S16

Swedish Flipsid3 Tactics have won ESEA Intermediate Season 16 with a 2-0 (16-13 de_dust2, 19-17 de_nuke) win over Paranoia in the grand final to win $1,300.

Paranoia eSports finished the regular season in seventh place, boasting a record of 11-5. Their grand final opponents, Swedish Flipsid3 Tactics, finished 10-6, good for a tenth placing.

In the playoffs the Finns ran through the upper bracket undefeated, though with close matches that included a 16-14 win versus RCTIC and 22-19 overtime victory over Flipsid3.

The Swedes then took down Norwegian Expert-gaming 16-12 on de_inferno to clinch a spot in the grand final, and a chance at redemption against Paranoia-eSports through the lower bracket.

Flipsid3 Tactics did just that. They first overcame the Finns 16-14 on de_dust2, and then came back from a 3-12 deficit on de_nuke to win 19-17 in overtime to win ESEA IM Season 16.

What's wrong with this? Can't all teams be pro. And pro's aren't only one which deserve news, support etc.

No, all teams can not be professional, you might want to google the definition of "professional".

"Can't all teams be pro" just seems like a question, "All teams can't be pro" would have been a more proper and clear way to say it. Also, I have a hard time "Understooding" what you're trying to say when your english is quite broken.

They did last season aswell. Can't see why they shouldn't.
2014-06-11 07:32
I know right? Wasting time on these lesser known teams means that we're missing out on some of the vast amount of news in the CS scene that's happened in the last 24hrs... Oh wait, no, the other thing.

we've posted about im winners last season as well, it's not exactly a busy news morning, and it promotes the lower levels of play. seems like a no-brainer to me.

I think it's good that you cover more levels of the scene if you have the time and people for it. Keep up the great work. :)
2014-06-11 15:51
continue to do so, promoting the lower echelon of players/teams allows development, gj.
2014-06-11 17:19
Why not? Reading about "lesser known" teams adventure can be just as interesting as the usual posts about the top teams. Its only positive that the coverage is not only focused on top 10 teams (or whatever.

There's always a few of your types in every hltv article. What does your comment prove? Accomplish?
