After an exciting day full of matches the pretty well established team Virtus.pro managed to take home the trophy given away at ASUS Winter 2008.

Although not many international teams attended it can be said that the ASUS Winter 2008 had quite a strong collection of teams, Begrip.ru, Virtus.pro, Amazing Gaming, Excello and so on.

The final match between Amazing and Virtus.pro was won by the latter with 2 to 0 in maps, scoring respectively 16-10 and 16-07 against the Ukrainian team.

This made the final results look like following:

ASUS Winter 2008 Final Results

1. Russia Virtus.pro - $4,900 USD
2. Ukraine Amazing Gaming - $3,275 USD
3. Russia Begrip Gaming - $2,450 USD
4. Russia a-Gaming - $1,650 USD

It appears that Virtus.pro are still capable of winning the occasional tournament after being pushed to the background of the international scene for a while, hopefully we will see them back in more international action further into the year.

Virtus.pro is defenetly the best. An Expected win. gj guys ;)
