Gfinity 3 viewer's guide

With Gfinity 3's $45,000 CS:GO tournament now days away, we're ready to publish the official viewer's guide for the event taking place on August 2-3.

Gfinity 3 has gathered eight of the world's top twelve teams, according to our July world ranking, and two more who could well be considered for spots in the top fifteen.

The whole stacked event will be finished in just two short days at the Olympic Park in London, where a total of $45,000 will be split among the top eight finishers as follows:

1. $20,000 + ESWC spot
2. $10,000
3-4. $5,000
5-8. $1,250

The event will be casted by the likes of Stuart "TosspoT" Saw and Anders Blume, with Scott "SirScoots" Smith and Duncan "Thorin" Shields also part of the production crew.

In case you missed them, we have conducted an interview with mousesports' Aleksi "allu" Jalli here, and another one featuring Mikail "Maikelele" Bill here.

Thorin & SirScoots will be present at G3

Below is the official schedule for the event, which will start with two six team groups, followed up by an eight team single elimination best-of-three bracket.

Please note that G3 have not scheduled the matches on either day, aside from the first one. Instead they are expected to go live after the previous matches finish.

I'm expecting great things from this tournament , but also from ESWC to follow up this "qualifier". Good luck to all teams there hoping for some upsets.
2014-07-31 19:28
EDIT: My mistake, mixed up two tournaments.
2014-07-31 19:35
it will be on main arena or something on friday too
2014-07-31 19:31
you realize that's a different tournament right?
2014-07-31 19:31
I do, but I mixed them up. Sorry. Also, it would be cool if G3 had half of the groupstages on Friday, this way we're gonna miss some great matches, already at 10 am one, for example.
2014-07-31 19:36
Budget~~~
2014-07-31 19:37
You know G3 != ESL right?
2014-07-31 19:32
Ok...FM vs Mouz on Main Stage...not fnatic-iBP or NIP-EPS... WTF is this?!
2014-07-31 19:31
They have to coverage some matches with British teams man... They are totally underdogs and basically every match with them is not as interesting as others.
2014-07-31 19:36
I know that...both infused & FM are on Main Stage......
2014-07-31 19:37
Every team gets to appear on the mainstage.
2014-07-31 19:53
Does that matter that much and all the important matches starting from the QF will be played on the main stage so.
2014-07-31 20:37
16:00 NiP vs. fnatic BO1 oh shiat!
2014-07-31 19:31

2014-07-31 20:07
All matches will be streamed correct? Not just mainstage matches?
2014-07-31 20:24
dreamteam twg...?
2014-07-31 20:34
No dreamteam for G3? I know we'd only have 1 switch-out period, but it would still be sick for this tournment.

Very expensive team for spectators 50euro to just watch, and zero communications from G3 itself, they literally just send info to hltv. edit: zero info on website gfinity.net/
2014-07-31 21:28
I think they should hold off on deciding the main stage matches for the end of day1 until they see how the groups are panning out. No point having a nothing game on stage when 2 teams could be potentially playing for the last spot in the next round
2014-07-31 21:44
Local timezone or CET?
2014-07-31 21:47
Its your timezone that you set on settings

Are you sure those times are correct? If I'm in London, isn't the start at 09:00 London local time?
2014-08-01 22:22
Ah I found out, HLTV adjust all times based on the time-zone set in the profile.
2014-08-01 23:47
Welp, I guess I know what I'll be doing all weekend.
2014-08-01 23:21
Any info on what matches will be streamed by main channel?
2014-08-02 02:40
yes, the one with " * " and maybe the others by other streamer but the one with " * " will be streamed by the official stream
2014-08-02 07:04
