Na`Vi beat NiP, remain Casekings

Na`Vi have defeated NiP 2-1 (16-1 de_dust2, 11-16 de_cache, 16-13 de_inferno) to remain Casekings of the Hill in week #3. LDLC finish third.

First round saw the two challengers of the week, NiP and LDLC, meet. LDLC opened with a 11-4 first half on de_inferno and quickly closed out the map with a 16-9 score.

Second map de_nuke saw Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg take matters in his own hands as he finished +24 with a 1.44 KPR to lead NiP to a 16-9 win despite of his teammates' struggles.

Decider de_dust2 had tons of close rounds, but from the pistol round on, where f0rest and Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund won a two-on-four, it was all NiP.

The Ninjas were able to win seemingly every close round and turn every early deficit around to ultimately gain a monstrous 13-2 lead at half time and win the series 16-2, 2-1.

seized had a great series versus NiP in CKoTH

If NiP were dominant on de_dust2 versus LDLC, it couldn't have been worse versus Na`Vi. The defending champions, led by Denis "seized" Kostin, scored a quick 16-1 win.

Once again it was f0rest who pulled his clearly out-of-shape team over the finish line on de_cache. The CS player of the year 2006 got 26 kills as NiP tied the series 16-11.

The series came down to de_inferno, which was a closer affair than the previous two maps. Na`Vi scored ten defensive rounds, thanks to seized and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács.

NiP fought back in the next half and got to thirteen rounds, but ultimately Na`Vi's firepower - with Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev also fired up - was too much, and the Swedes lost 13-16.

In Nip vs LDLC, on infi, at half time the score was 11-4 not 12-3.

Hey Tomi, why not a single word about constant DDOS attaks? Don't you think it affected this game and the scene in general?? You are the voice of HLTV communitys thoughtful part, and we need You to be more vocal, as You have the actual chance to be heard!
2014-07-31 10:30
the people who ddos want attention, if you give them more attention, they will simply ddos more. it's that simple.
2014-07-31 10:32
people who ddos want skins and money I guess
2014-07-31 13:53
how many times can u mention ddos? Theres no point anymore, being ddos'd during a csgo match is like the norm now...so theres no point in mentioning it
2014-07-31 10:47
That's exactly the case. It's an unsolved issue so there's no point going on about it. I think making it a topic would only be like shitting where you eat; more attention, more ddos.

Zeus is and he was offline for the better part of cache. I think they could have won 2-0, but they lost every round when Zeus wasn't there.

A lot of people said that seized is the rising star and he will break out this year. They were damn right.

Navi shat on nip but couldn't beat amateur teams with worse aimers, seems legit.
2014-07-31 08:48
call the police guys, we have a witness who thinks that someone threw to benefit some pixels
2014-07-31 09:04
Not that I agree with him, but you do realize there are also betting sites where one can bet real money on matches, and thus make real money, don't you?
2014-07-31 09:39
I do, like i said in the other thread its possible but highly unlikely.
2014-07-31 18:01
navi are like hellraisers...they might lose to weaker teams but give hell of a match against better teams.
2014-07-31 10:37
stop betting skins if u are afraid to lose bc of throws...
2014-07-31 10:51
amazing tournament with 3 teams, we need more of this
2014-07-31 08:49

Last year when Thorin asked the pros who do they think is going to break thru in 2014 a lot of them said seized. They were right :) Definately among the best players out there.
2014-07-31 09:42
True remember that didn't actually believe it because he was bad in my opinion before
2014-07-31 10:50
He just wasn't known yet. But if players like f0rest and Neo say that the dude is insane you can kinda expect a lot :) But just like you, I didn't highlight the name or pay any attention to him really before Katowice.
2014-07-31 11:30
Even Angel and Kibaken played on de_cache for Navi so no surprise that they lost it.

NiP 2nd place....again ._.!
2014-07-31 11:49
In the second side of cache (10-5 for Na`Vi) Zeus (IGL) disconnected due internet problems and Na`Vi had to play with ANGE1 till (10-12 score for NiP) only then Zeus came back and they still lost it. Pretty sure end of game should be in cache for Na`Vi. But anyway, great game on inferno. GG both of teams. Na`Vi best team on dust2 vs. top teams?
2014-07-31 13:32
16-1 wtf?
2014-07-31 13:39
badluck bitch, i mean NiP.. When are you gonna kick fatboy and ugly man who always both bottom score?
2014-07-31 14:00
Everyone telling who is nr1 because of some online matches, joke =DDD Such a huge difference from online and lan.. Online matches doesn't really show a thing.. :p
2014-07-31 16:29
What's the point of participating in Caseking if you don't show anything? I call this bullshit. Perhaps they don't show their all tactics but they play serious, that's for sure.
2014-07-31 16:41
Always remember as Anders said, NiP use those matches a practice and dont take them serious as they would with a LAN match. still it was a a great match, apart from the DDOS... Really ruined it and Navi could have won Cache.
2014-07-31 17:51
Didn't say NiP didn't play their best, but choose who is the best player/team over online games is pretty stupid :D There is a lot of people who slack online.
2014-07-31 17:54
Gtr has been weak for a long time, i wouldnt call him top 5 last few months.
