mTw 2008 beat fnatic 2008ish
mTw's 2008 team won the Counter-Strike Forever 1.6 showmatch following a 2-0 victory over fnatic's 2008 squad, who had Björn "threat" Pers as a stand-in.
Because of the delays in G3's group stage, Ninjas in Pyjamas' Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg was unable to play for fnatic, which forced the Swedish side to use a stand-in, Björn "threat" Pers, who only joined the team in January 2010 after helping them to win the World Esports Masters the month before.
It was good old Counter-Strike 1.6 action, with streams in both English and Ukrainian, in this best-of-three showmatch, whose purpose was to celebrate fnatic's tenth anniversary.

With the $1,500 prize purse going to charity, the result is what least matters, but history books will say that mTw bested fnatic with a 2-0 scoreline, following 16-9 and 16-3 victories on de_dust2 and de_train.
The money earned by the old mTw team with this victory will be donated to the Danish Red Cross. Below you can find the teams' lineups from this match:
