mouz, fnatic, HR, Na`Vi to SLTV

SLTV StarSeries X's regular season is four matches away from being concluded and all four finalists for the event on August 30-31 have been determined.

mousesports are the surprise winners of the regular season, powered by Finnish star Aleksi "allu" Jalli, holding a 11-0-2 record prior to their final game against Epsilon.

Finishing in second place were the new roster of fnatic, who totaled ten wins, two draws and two losses. Their strongest players were Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist.

Another team with double digit wins were HellRaisers - who forfeited their final game to mouz - also with a 10-2-2 record, led by Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov's 1.26 rating performance.

nooky's mousesports top the regular season in SLTV StarSeries X

Finally, last but not least making finals are the defending champions Na`Vi, who together with Virtus.pro finish with a 9-1-4 record, but hold the tiebreaker over them.

Another victim in the regular season are Titan, who started the season 1-3 and couldn't quite recover, finishing 9-0-5 overall, one point shy of Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro.

Four more matches remain in the regular season - though they won't have any affect on who goes to the finals - and will be played according to the schedule below:

18:00 Germany Berzerk vs. Estonia OnBots
19:00 Germany Berzerk vs. Russia Nostalgie
20:00 Spain OverGaming vs. Poland ESC
21:00 Germany mousesports vs. France Epsilon

You can find the full standings for SLTV StarSeries X regular season here, while statistics are available here. Below are again the four finalists and opening round match-ups at the finals:

Germany mousesports vs. Ukraine Natus Vincere
Sweden fnatic vs. Ukraine HellRaisers

SLTV StarSeries X Finals will take place on August 30-31 at CyberSports ARENA in Kiev, Ukraine. You will find all the coverage for the event here at HLTV.org

Is it optical illusion, but seems that VP won more rounds than Na`Vi.
2014-08-12 09:21
I think VP gave up the spot? Or because Na`Vi beat VP? The latter is the most likely but the more ridiculous solution
2014-08-12 09:23
Navi won VP 16-13
2014-08-12 09:26

Navi won with VP so they are going to LAN finals.
2014-08-12 16:17
This time its normal tie-breaker situation, NaVi won VP and they advance.
2014-08-12 09:28
head-to-head should always be (and is, for sltv starseries) the first tie-breaker in two-team ties -- na`vi beat virtus.pro, so they advance.

fail? they did great on g3 and have only been kicked out in a strong match against fnatic. please stop talking bullshit.
2014-08-12 09:57
"Did great" They got lucky and went through via bad tournament rules from the groups and then didn't go any further.
2014-08-12 10:08
They did great in the sense that: _ chrisJ didn't help the team at all _ The beat virtus pro in a convincing fashion _ They never got destroyed during groupstages (or maybe once) _ They did good against fnatic. If they get their shit together during sltv, maybe they will achieve something on Lan internionally and imo they deserve it since they are really trying hard.

That they are not a good "team", they are being carried by one man. And the fact remains that if the qualifiers for SLTV were played on LAN Mouz wouldn't have even got close to breaking top 4, let alone topping the chart.
2014-08-12 14:32
Alright so NiP aren't a good team aswell. You don't know shit about cs if you can say such things, honestly.

Where is this rule? VP has better round proportion. I can't find in rules which is more important, rounds or direct match
2014-08-12 10:14
It doesn't matter about rounds if there's a W/D/L tie. Na'Vi and VP played the tiebreaker and Na'Vi won it.
2014-08-12 10:43
11.1. Group Stage In the group stage matches are played for as long as one of the teams will take 16 rounds or will not be a draw. In group stage, each team will play each one match (Best of 1). According to the results of the group stage to the final stage reaches teams that took at the group stage one of the first 4 places. Determination of teams places in the group stage: The places which the teams have in groups are depending on the points, which the team has gotten in matches of group stage. For the win in the match the team gets 3 points, for the draw – 1 point and for the defeat – 0 points. The team which has more points is higher than the team, which has less ones in the tournament table; If points of two or more teams are equal, teams will get places according to the rules below: 1. According to the personal matched of these teams; 2. According to the difference of won and lost rounds between these teams; 3. According to the difference of won and lost rounds between all teams of this group; If the teams have equal number of items above, there will be rematch between those teams.

2014-08-12 10:16
They have same results, but Natus Vincere have beaten VP so they got this extra, if VP would beat Na`Vi then VP would qualify for starladder! :)
2014-08-12 10:18
In my opnion HR, Fnatic, Mouz, Na`Vi.
2014-08-12 10:16
