Hitbox Arena Championship 2 has come to an end with mousesports topping fnatic 2-1 in the grand final (5-16 on de_mirage, 16-9 on de_cache, 16-12 on de_dust2) and taking home the $1,750 prize.

mousesports and fnatic topped their respective groups in the first stage of Hitbox Arena Championship 2, and eventually both made it to the grand final.

In the semis the Swedes beat myXMG 2-1 win while playing with Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg as a stand-in, while mouz bested London Conspiracy 2-0.

chrisJ's mousesports win Hitbox Arena Championship 2

The grand final saw Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson back in the squad, and it started with the ESL One Cologne runners-up storming through de_mirage for a 16-5 win. Then Aleksi "allu" Jalli & co. evened it out with 16-9 victory on de_cache, and the deciding map de_dust2 continued with mouz on form.

They won the CT side 9-6 and later went up 14-6, when the Swedes finally woke up and started mounting a comeback. But then an eco round at 15-12 slipped away after three kills by Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, and that saw mouz run away with the $1,750 prize from this online tournament.

dude, the rest of the games, tournaments in lan... mouz only pass 1 time group stage. Online they beat all teams... and in lan... no.
2014-08-29 03:38
like i said, they have 2 new players and 1 lan with allu with a nice result(almost beat fnatic) wait for next lan and if they are shit, after u can say Onlin3r 4ev3r
2014-08-29 03:42
they wont qualify for next, or maybe wait... oh they'll cuz qualifier is on-LINE
2014-08-29 08:38
they will qualify and won't attend, give up already. they are what they are and everybody knows it.
2014-08-29 11:07
would you want to travel to the ukraine, not knowing when or if a russian invasion might come? I can fully understand their decision to skip the SLTV finals.

They skipped 1 lan, they attended all the rest that they qualified for. And if the reason for skipping a lan is because you dont want to enter a country at war, then I think thats a pretty valid reason.
2014-08-29 13:26
u need to look at results with the same roster
2014-08-29 14:02
Not going to SLTV Finals is a crime

2014-08-29 06:23
relex, have fun, no war! XD
2014-08-29 06:45
Yes what I mean is, this German trying to embarrass you by saying 7-1 like Germany is some glorified country because of a world cup win over Brazil, but history speaks for itself when it comes to Germany, I wouldn't be so boastful.
2014-08-29 06:52
lol... :)
2014-08-29 07:14
We are Europes largest economy and everyone in Germany lives pretty good, the situation now is more important than history. :)
2014-08-29 09:49
LOL your economy is falling down with the European Union :D
2014-08-29 10:25

2014-08-29 15:35
confirmed by hltv.org
2014-08-29 15:38
you should never forget Germany's history. end of discussion.
2014-08-29 13:10
Some people just cant get comfy with desk height, chairs, noise etc.....dont think he cheats
2014-08-29 04:40
The desks they have are designed with everyone in mind(he doesn't look like a midget or a giant to me) Most tournaments have "gaming chairs" from sponsors, but yeah gfinity borrowed equipment from india for the group stages. Noise is not an issue, they have to equip in-ears. So no, those excuses won't hold.
2014-08-29 06:21
Not the case @ G3 tho xd
2014-08-29 08:41
Just shut the fuck up, you obviously have no clue what you're talking about, so just shut the fuck up and wait for the next LAN. Take this advice, all of you fuckheads who've been around the game for like 4 years and think they know their shit. Oh yeah, Delpan was considered by many to be an onliner and a cheater before he started tearing it up in LAN's.
2014-08-29 13:36

Loved to see FatW saying 'good luck on eps'. Mad lil' fatty is mad. Well done mouz. Now, just repeat this on LAN.
2014-08-29 05:35
Lil' fatty is probably twice your size, brown midget. 7-1
2014-08-29 06:14
Wow, another fatty lil' kid? Your comment almost made my day! So, you're Jim? Oh, right... Another north american name. Another McFatty! Enjoy your fatty freedom, kid. And btw, MAYBE, someday, you'll know what 'soccer' is, fat twat. Brown midget is funny, also. Thanks!
2014-08-29 06:31
still 7-1
2014-08-29 08:40
Still 5 times WC Champion. So..?
2014-08-29 18:32
sitll 7-1
2014-08-29 18:36
he is twice his size?erm was this suposed to be an insult? :D
2014-08-29 15:17
Of course they do, it's an online tournament.
2014-08-29 06:11
zzzzZZzzzZZZZzz yeah online mouz - fnatic 2:1 mouz - VP 1:0 LAN mouz - fnatic 1:2 mouz - VP 1:0 mouz can´t be a lan team in your eyes if they don´t win a major with 100k 1st... mouz is still better than the much teams IMO....deal with it...
2014-08-29 06:23
considering jw was considered an onliner till they started placing higher in events it will only be the same for chris unfortunately.
2014-08-29 07:40
the difference is that jw is actually good at lan
2014-08-29 08:07
ok
2014-08-29 08:12
yeah and allu? mouz is not bad od lan they got on every lan the biggest enemys like nip, hr (HR on lan almost unbeatable...except against nip, diggi..) allu is MUCH better than JW and all know it
2014-08-29 08:55
agreed... but the enemys on lan are the best teams... they got nip, hr at first on every lan...
2014-08-29 08:57
ye, mouse can't be lan team, cuz they have onlineJ
2014-08-29 08:42
and if he performs good on lan u say he hacks...every ln the same shit ;)
2014-08-29 08:54
uwotm8? chrisJ performs good on LAN :DDDDDDDDDDD HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
2014-08-29 08:57
google translator "IF" but ok....so every team is shit against mouz online... who cares... why they can´t play ONLINE?
2014-08-29 08:59
fnatic isn't everyteam. They barely beat nip in bo1. In bo3 they won't win, they haven't beat dignitas, LDLC
2014-08-29 09:11
it´s all the same lvl imo
2014-08-29 10:14
mouse on same level? :D ahhahahahahahahahahahah online doesn't mean shit. They called onlineesport, onlineJ for a reason.
2014-08-29 10:44

for chrisj, playing at home while smoking a join is really awesome. i mean i played like that every fucking days when i was young. i started lan with my team (we were all 5 smokers), we only could smoke join after or before the game start, but not when we were playing (police, ...). And we did all shit, especially me. trust me, difference is huge.
2014-08-29 20:09
Ok, I understand lan is a different environment, but the discrepancy between his online play and lan play is just.... its fucking ridiculous. Worse than skadoodle's.
