LDLC top Na`Vi; win SLTV XI

LDLC have won SLTV StarSeries XI Finals with a 3-2 (16-9 de_inferno, 17-19 de_dust2, 12-16 de_overpass, 16-6 de_mirage) win over Natus Vincere.

A four kill by Denis "seized" Kostin wasn't enough on the defensive pistol round of de_inferno, as LDLC won the opening pistol round. However, four more kills by him, with a MAG-7, tied the game.

Two Scout kills by Richard "shox" Papillon helped give LDLC the lead once again, but a triple by Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev saw Na`Vi equalize the score, thanks to his saved M4A1-S.

seized and Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko contributed multi-kill rounds to put Na`Vi up 4-2, before LDLC's bombsite A attack via the spawn side got shox's team another round.

Trading rounds continued with Na`Vi going up 5-3, before the Frenchmen finally managed to string multiple rounds together. shox's multikill round made it 6-5 for LDLC.

Na`Vi's defense tied the game at six before LDLC gained one more terrorist side lead with a successful rotation to the B bombsite, following two picks in the A apartments area.

seized started off strong on de_inferno

The hometeam won the final two rounds of the half, but from there on out the first map was all LDLC, who swept the first three rounds of the second half to gain a 10-8 lead.

A triple kill effort by Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey forced Na`Vi on another save, and the Frenchmen mowed Na`Vi down in A right after, giving them a commanding 13-8 lead.

Then it was Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux whose quad kill extended LDLC's lead to 14-8, before Na`Vi's bombsite B hit finally worked, giving them their first terrorist side round.

Down 9-14 there wasn't much left to be done. LDLC first stopped Na`Vi in A, and then won an afterplant situation in the B bombsite to clinch a 16-9 map win.

On de_dust2 LDLC won the opening pistol round, with kioShiMa and SmithZz splitting the spot. However, Na`Vi's forcebuy instantly evened up the score again.

SmithZz's LDLC won the opening map

Edward then played the hero with a one-on-two conversion on top of the A site, but doubles by both kioShiMa and shox on yet another forcebuy tied the game.

Na`Vi kept buying and won a round in A, and two save rounds by the French allowed the hometeam to gain a 5-2 lead, before shox and Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt replied with doubles.

Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer then scored a double, followed up by a triple to tie the game up. From there on out the French dominated Na`Vi first half, winning eight straight rounds for a 10-5 lead.

A triple by Edward on the pistol started Na`Vi's comeback, which saw them rack four rounds together to start the half, before LDLC managed to win a save round in A.

Doubles by seized and Zeus got Na`Vi within one, and they tied the game as LDLC saved. The hometeam then stopped LDLC's attack in B, getting a 12-11 lead.

Edward had big rounds for Na`Vi on de_dust2

A triple kill by kioShiMa tied the game again, only for the teams to trade the next three ounds, with Na`Vi winning a save round in which Sergey "starix" Ischuk killed three Frenchmen.

The game was tied with Happy's double on a CZ-75 buy, but Na`Vi's forcebuy, this time with Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács's Scout gave them a lead, only for LDLC to force the game to overtime.

In overtime Na`Vi won the opening round on defense, but LDLC were able to grind out the other two rounds on their terrorist side, holding onto a 17-16 lead at half time.

A quad kill by GuardiaN's AWP tied the game, and the ex-CIS team forced a third map in the series with two successful attacks to the A and B sites for a 19-17 win.

To start de_overpass, Zeus won a one-on-two with four kills total. Two rounds later two kills by NBK- helped LDLC win a save round, but Na`Vi regained control with another win.

Then two kills by seized in a three-on-three allowed Na`Vi to go up 5-1, before kioShiMa's one-on-one win started an LDLC run that saw them tie the game at six.

GuardiaN engaged in carry mode on de_overpass

Among those rounds was a triple kill by shox, and the French even gained a 7-6 lead before doubles by starix and Zeus finished their strong terrorist half 8-7.

A triple from GuardiaN's P2000 got Na`Vi the first three rounds of the second half, but the Frenchmen replied, winning three of their own to bring it back to 10-11.

GuardiaN again stepped up, scoring two big kills to get Na`Vi a two round lead before kioShiMa's two entry kills into B, and a clever A take by LDLC, tied the game.

From 12-12 it was all Na`Vi on de_overpass. A quad kill by saving starix got them a lead, and neat plays by starix again, and Edward, secured a 16-12 win.

It all came down to map five, de_mirage. LDLC started strong after losing two in a row, racking up an early 5-1 lead on the considerably harder terrorist side.

shox's LDLC prevailed on de_mirage to win the event

Na`Vi replied with a round win, thanks to starix's play, but again LDLC ran away from the ex-CIS team, winning five more straight rounds to make it 10-2 in their favor.

After a full stop in the B site, Na`Vi rallied and a double kill by GuardiaN stopped LDLC in their tracks, again in B, with his team able to close out the final round as well.

All of a sudden only up 10-5, LDLC didn't look back and quickly stopped Na`Vi's bombsite A hit on the pistol round, as well as a forcebuy, and the ensuing save round.

LDLC won the first gun round as well, before two kills by seized gave the hometeam a glimmer of hope, only to be instantly yanked away by LDLC.

Edward ran out of time in a one-on-one all the way on the other side of the map, and LDLC quickly finished the series with a 16-6 win on de_mirage.

Dunno wtf Na'Vi were doing on Mirage... Playing like bunch of slivers in MM just buying every round. Guardian had AWP like 3 rounds for the whole map.
2014-10-20 00:19
it was 10-5 after half and navi were on T side that was still not bad at all but they just lost second pistol round and it was 14-5 because they tried to buy and win in 18. round (after plant) unlucky they lost the round + they did mistake in 20. round (full equip) and that was very important to them so it could be easy 16-10 or 16-6 for Na'Vi but u can't c this because you are silver.

try playing 8 maps straight @ at lan finals :D
2014-10-20 08:29
I guess they were tired, too many maps in one day. I thought if they brought it too mirage, since they are good on mirage, which they have shown so many times, they would win. Unfortunately they played badly and lost, wasn't even LDLC playing on some other level, just Na'Vi losing faith, it seemed. Even tho LDLC had pracced mirage as well, I would still say Na'Vi is better on that map overall.

2014-10-20 00:26
Na'Vi had their chance to win upper bracket earlier, they didn't (because they lost to LDLC), hence they didn't have a one map advantage, period.

4-2!

dignitas aren't 3-4. Come on, unless you consider only on-line results
2014-10-20 13:21
You mean they're worse than somebody placed below them?..
2014-10-20 14:32
VP top 3-4 ? ahaha
2014-10-20 13:24
How can be VP 3-4? They didnt win or placed in any tournament last 4-5 months...
2014-10-20 13:59
Cuz VP > Titan, NiP, HR, and may be Na`Vi So why not?.. Only LDLC & fnatic can beat them in bo3 for now, thus I think this rating is pretty accurate.

Rly? :D Navi destroyed VP on every journey this year, except esea lan finals, where were VP 4 :D
2014-10-20 15:44
Na`Vi is better that VP. should be 3-4 Na`Vi

Shoxie's pic makes him look like some wise Samurai , overlooking the terrain for their next battle, summing up where the slaughter will take place. Yes, it is common for Samurai to have piercings.

Add de_train and remove de_overpass. Why would every tournament bury such a nice and traditional map as de_train? Because Vulva want it to be this way? F*ck them, add de_train.
