DH Winter with myXMG and Bravado
DreamHack Winter organizers have announced the last two teams for their upcoming $250,000 tournament - myXMG and South Africans Bravado. Details about the full bootcamp in Stockholm and a new stage specifically built for CS:GO at the venue were also revealed.
myXMG, the 6th placed team from the European qualifier for DreamHack Winter, and Bravado Gaming, South African league champions have been invited to the $250,000 tournament later this month.
MSL will attend his 3rd major tournament
Those two last spots were initially reserved for "International qualifier" but DreamHack have explained their decision to invite these two teams:
"DreamHack reached out to international partners outside Europe to host LAN/Online qualifiers to this event, and we had a couple of very good indications, but unfortunately it was not possible to pull off with the time frame.
With that scenario, we believed it was most fair giving back 1 slot to the most competitive CS:GO scene (Europe) and give the slot to ”next team in line” - myXMG. In addition to that, we’re giving Bravado Gaming (from South Africa) the chance, who next to a couple of other international teams (outside EU & NA), reached out to participate in this tournament.
Since the previous events have focused on teams from Asia & Oceania, we believed it’s good for the sports to let a new continent get their fair chance."
The full 16 team-list now looks as follows:

DreamHack have further revealed that they are in the process of building a special CS:GO stage in Hall B of the venue, which will have a capacity of around 1,200 seats on the 3 audience stands and is projected to look like this:
